octopus's are definetly able to be kept, im pretty sure Krama had 1 for a while, if anyone goes diving and can get me some stuff i would be very keen

you could goto Stewats Electrical in Palmerston North on lombard st, they have them on the shelf were about $6 -7 when i went there last

IF " A FREIND " was to catch a legal size trout and put it in a chilly bin alive, then take it home, would it be illegal??if i was stopped by a ranger would they try to arrest me??do they have to be dead before they can be taken??

hi what chiller would be able to keep a 6x2x2' tank around 15 deg??im wanting to get a coldwater tank running but dont know much about chillers.

so you can keep them they just have to be the legal size to take them from the river? apart from good flow, what else would you need to keep one? how cold is cold water?

thanks for that i thought that having 2 20mm would br better but ive changed my mind now

thats how i was going to do it chimera just have 1 return pump and t the pipe into 2 outlets, chimera if i use 32mm pipe for the return what size should the 2 outlets be?? i hate maths!

i was thinking of having 2 returns to get flow on both sides of the overflow but thought maybe i might have issues with flow to both returns as im running a 1060

would it be better to have 1 25mm return from the sump or 2 20mm? its for my anemone tank and im stuck on what to do
