i want to make an anemone tank,but after looking at pies latest pics wow,how many chromis could i keep in a 100gal tank safetly?could i still have the anemone aswell??

nah everything still looks the same at the mo,but will post sum more when i can,im thinking of having the closed loops joint in a big square instead of 2 spraybar type outlets,will be using 20mm pipeing.

well its been awhile, ive got all the plumbing bits, just waiting for the ball valves now,im thinking of getting a 400w MH for the lighting,my sump is built and looks good.i decided to get the sump made to fit under the tank its 90x60x40high,it has a 40x60 section for the fuge on the left then return section in the middle and the drain from the durso is on the right,i still need to get 2 pumps for the closed loops and then can plumb it all in.do you think that 2x 2' fluros will be enough lighting for the fuge?

hi does anyone have any ideas on the best way to get water from the sump drain pipe to the refugim,the intake for the sump is on the right hand side while the ref is on the left, should i just put tee joint in and have a ball valve controling the flow?

i was wanting to keep the tank as an anemone only tank, so maybey go with the 250's?, will 2x 150w be enuff for a H. Magnifica?

thanks, my tank is 100 long x 75 wide and 60 high, could i get away with 2 or need more like 4,or would it just be eaiser to get 2x 250w ones??

hey dogmatix, the tanks already been drilled in the bottom for the closed loops so thought it would be easier to put the eheims on, sort of like how pies closed loops are setup?

hi do you think that 3x eheim 1060's will create enough flow for a 500l tank, 2 will be closed loops and 1 will be the return pump from the sump?what do you think??

do you have to add top off water, or can you use seawater everytime? eg if the tank gets lots of evaporation can i use saltwater if i drain water out of the tank ( say 10% ) and replace it back to where th water level would normally sit, or would the salt levels rise too much?

thanks i dont really want that flasher skimmer as im going to use it as a Q/tank for when i get my bigger tank setup which hopefully wont be that far away

id be interested in the base size aswell, have to see if i can fit one in my sump.

hi im thinking of setting up a 2' marine tank, what kind of hang on back skimmer can i use and what lights should i use if i only want mushrooms and a leather in it?
