  1. I don't talk nearly as much s--t as other would make out. come on Layton, don't underrate yourself
  2. he also says that that coral was the only one that coloured up. the other chap I quoted, Nestor, has colours that don't look much better and he thinks they "pop"
  3. And as for the Nestor chap, saying his colours pop!!, yuck.
  4. Don't like his after photos at all. Looks to me like he had some good colours to start with, although he does say he had algae issues etc.
  5. Calcium Reactor + kalkwasser + Calcium Chloride
  6. looking forward to seeing your vcolours
  7. I can't see you being able to test it Cracker. You wouldn't be able to overskim your size tank, with what you feed, even with your new skimmer. That skimmer on a 200l tank maybe.
  8. Razer calupera. Made the mistake of thinking the little piece looked good in my display, and have had to remove buckets of it. Get it out now Steve.
  9. Can't see through the mist more like it, go the sand sifters
  10. Yep, Chimeras right. The reactor will maintain levels of Ca, and Mg (with the Mag chips) but you need to add CaCl and MgCl to get to the desired levels in the first place.

  12. welcome home Craig, hows the tank....
  13. Happy with my Panasonic Lumix
  14. My rain water tanks water has between 12-18ppm TDS before going through the RoDi unit, then it comes out 0ppm .
  15. I've tried a number of types since changing lights Mark. I started with the HPM heavy duty ones, manual but rated to 2400W, and within a couple of days they failed and wouldn't turn my lights off. Bought cheapie digital timers, still rated to 1200W, and 1 of these failed and again wouldn't turn the light off. Replaced this one with a simple pin type job I had lying around and all have gone fine for several months. In other words the HPM heavy duty are no better than any other timers, and I've now got 3 that may be buggered and it's a waste of $29.95 each, compared to the $9.95 jobbies I'm using a present. I will definitely be going to a timer tripped relay like Chimera on my next tank.
  16. tests from the weekend Chimera... Ca - 455ppm Kh - 8.6 Mg - 1320.

    barn rails

Chimera, i bought these exact rails through work for the kids flying fox i made. Can't recall off hand the company but I'll get the name on Wed when I go back to work. You can get different sizes, different runners etc, 2 wheel or 4 wheel, nylon or steel wheels etc. I've got a catalog of them at work.
