  3. Muriwai Beach with no swell and low tide will get you Baby red moki, baby maomao, baby bigeye, leaf fish, etc etc etc. I know, ran a local marine for a number of years.
  4. Much the same, but you need to keep the water cold, in other words you really need a chiller.
  5. ordered, along with 2 6200s - through HFF (if I can track Dave down, don't like talking to all the young fellas, don't give me a good discount like Dave )

Sad news, Steves tank has crashed, lost all sps, and softies. What a big lost to the hobby.
  15. Very nice, 3272 watts of lighting, nice power bill. Like the flow, looks like it's the 6200s for the new tank, hey Ben, when does 66" = 4 foot
  16. nice drifty, love the tank size.
  17. The cats eye is fine, algae eaters, the small cone shaped ones are definitely carnivious and will eat your others snails and any other crustations you have. Be careful.
  18. your just showing off now Ben!!!!!
  19. exactly Wok, look at the way you worded your first post Joze, not surprised you got a reaction.
  20. mine are gone, and I believe cookies as well, but I do have a sixline. People over react to them, they settle down once you control nutrients, just like tube worms etc. Just more biodiversity in your tank. My opinion though, backed up by my own experiences.
  21. they can and do go away, read up on them and decide. If you have continual problems with them coming back in quantity, use the chemicals, but look to the cause first.
  22. http://www.fnzas.org.nz/fishroom/flatworms-vt12505.html Various opinions about what to do with them. I think if you run low nutrients, and as your tank matures they seem to disappear, did in my tank anyway.
  23. yep, dived alot, fiji, and aussie, but my most spectacular day diving by far was at the poor knights, 200 feet vis, unbelievable life and colour, stunning arches and caves - almost makes me want to take it up again and the damsel is called a 2 spot demoiselle (Chromis dispilusdam).
