coming from return pipe ...... using skimmer + lots of rock as baffles massive improvement but can see a custom sump happing soon...... greatly improved cheers for advice

I have same pipe side each side of pump... despite what pies has recommended several times, and i agree with him :oops:

they are "TINY" much smaller then the ones you had the other night. unless they are not buubles, but muck in the water coulum.... pump only been on for 24 hours ..... will opost feeedback tomorrow.

I was going to tie the top up pump onto some reef rack so its about 1/2 way up the coloum, but run the stirrer pump tied to the rack at the very bottom. cup a month.... guess thats about 30 teaspoons.... how much water is in your topup bin? i understand the saturation thing......

how much kalc do you dump into the drum?

sick of mixing by hand...... pies / steve... I know you guys just run lots of kalk in your top up system.... I was thinking of just putting an old powerhead into the evap water and have it come on every 8 hours for a bit to stir it up.... and run the evap makeup topup pump on a timer so its only on at night is this how you guys are doing it?

lets see if its settled down tonight, but i think it is coming from the return, there is now SO MUCH water flowing through the sump.... and its under the tank in the dark, so very hard to see if the sump has micro bubbles in it...... looks crystal clear at pump input point tho we are not talking heaps just enough to see em if you get close, and they are tiny.......
