My sixline wrasse seems to like cheating death by swimming around and through the tenticles of my anemone :-? He hangs out with the clown fish thinking he is one of the boys, i think one of the reasons is that the current flows over the anemone in two different ways and the sixline like surfing the current anyone else have fish with personality disorders???

finnaly got around to doing some tests last night Ammo= 0 Nitrite= 0 Nitrate= 0 (couldnt make out anything at least) Phos= 0.25 hmmmm need to test my topup water pH=8.3

oh yeah and the tank is looking really good cracker

i found that the white grows better than the brown in my tank

one of the totm guys had something similair happen in his tank cloudy water and skimmer went crazy. it was the sps in his tank. he lost a few fish to it even after the water changes

so in other words what you said was right reef safe tanks and non reefsafe tanks (o Fish only with live rock FOWLR)

dont get a bat fish :-? they are sooo big, biggest fish if seen so far. most fish are compatable other than predator fish and agressive fish and the fish that are ok together (like clowns/tangs) are usually ok with coral etc. most people on here will have their display tank as their only saltwater tank with coral, i know some have another one in the garage etc..

not my favourite type of fish but i feel your loss

the current will move the food so at first when the clown is still a bit timid it might be a good idea to turn some off so it doesnt have to chase it too much

i have mostly salifert, but i do have one hagen (phosphates) because i needed it in a hurry and noone in ham carries salifert

i beleive the two xenias are the same, my xenia changes colouring and such when in a different part of the tank i like the white ones under the 20k bulbs, it makes them nice and pink

Howdy how many people here are interested in breeding their clowns??? (or other marines) wasp i know you are steve youve mentioned youd like to try skuzza you posted about this same topic nick you have to reef i talked o you about this a few months ago and you expressed some interest pies im sure youd enjoy the challenge and you have quite a few clowns tm you mentioned a year ago that you had access to them and im sure almost everyone else has at least thought about it once so what are we doing about it???? i think its abuot time we got togther and did something. im going to do some research tommorow and see what i can find out if any one has any info already then post it here and we can all benifit from it

is this is the way your testing the bulbs maybe its not the bulbs that need replacing but rather your retina's but seriously, what is the ballast info, the end caps may be for up to 1500w but its the ballast thats actually powering the bulb (or are you replacing the ballast and using the same fitting??)

yeah its great for my tank, but i have a wattper gallon ratio of 6.8 apx if it where lower i think i would choose 14's

do mysis live in fresh water too or is it a fresh water version??
