thanks for the offer, im a little lazy so i just cut the back off, how essential is it that i remove all the old silicon when i reglue it??

does it frustrate anyone else when people dont know what they are doing in their chosen profession??? ill probably have to cut the back of the tank off to get it drilled. (is it only hamilton or is the whole of NZ like this????)

just got a meesage from my wife saying the glaziers wont do it ( they say they cant) i called them last night to check to see if they could do it and the price and they said yep no worries 12 dollars STUPID PEOPLE

heres a Q for you guys that have hansen fittings the tank is being drilled today so ill probably fiddle around with things in the weekend. the question is do you use the linings that they come with (black rubbery peice) ????

hey, the melanopus are actually not that hard to raise, you can even do it with bbs and flake food seriously give it a try

mine has a hard skeleton type thing under the fleshy tissue (same as chimera's) so its not a normal softie

nice gorgonian mine is doing nicely has encrusted the base and is trying to take over the tank

the peice i got from you is looking really good, lightish brown with a nice purple rim that is starting to get brighter.

empty the tank and sit them all in there. might even have room for a few more. most people on this board are fairly generous with frags but because of distance many of us cant easily trade. 3 other reef keepers in my city that i know of, maybe we should have a bbq
