yeah as long as you get that insurance form filled in before she checks her bank balance 8)
you'll still be able to see it from the couch, thats the important thing
the only problem i have with mine (3 actually)
first of all they need to be quite a bit below the water level other wise they suck down the air from the surface (i suppose thats normal for streams as well)
second it doesnt tend to start autonomously when i unplug it or if the power is cut for other reasons (babies pulling out plugs to put their fingers in the sockets )
third they arent controlable.
why thread something inside the tank????
that wouldnt cause a drip out of the tank, sounds like the bulk head wasnt siliconed correctly or the threading to the bulkhead wasnt right
Hey
Just planning the acrylic overflow.
im wanting to have the water level fairly high in the tank but not overflow it.
does anyone know a trick for working out the space needed for over flow combs? ie how high they should be and how far apart each tooth should be.
wouldnt they have some kind of coating??
i would like some of those gloves but hopfully once the new tank is all setup i wont have my hands in there much at all
protein floats.
skimming from the surface water will make a difference as to the efficiency of the skimmers performance, this reason alone might decide what type of skimmer i finally decide on.
we should look at some bulk salt paul, i might be able to convince murray to cut us a deal.
ro/di is great to remove dissolved solids in the water that you use for topups and asw, i will be getting one eventually
well the final price for the tank 450$ (with diamante) is double the price of the tank without diamante 205$ so still very reasonable. i doubt it would be economical on a tank any larger.
can't wait to see it though (shhhhhh dont tell claire)
