did it have polystyrene under it? stress/pressure unevenly deistributed would cause a crack

yeah, when the lights go on the computer fan goes on. that way you can have it boxed off and the fan will ventilate the hood and keep the temp down

you dont have to have it enclosed, i would put a little fan in the back as well to keep it cool

are you going to put a glass lid between the lights and the water? i would reccomend it oh and going on your track record you might want to completly seal them in case they drop into the water. :lol:

i would just silicon it on, personally im making the whole thing out of acrylic

they are flouro. they will be fine on a timer.

yeah unless it involves alot of numbers or chemisty youll get more attention here. chimera got his overflow comb laser cut up there somwhere, but you can also buy them ready made at the LFS. the silicon used can be bought at the LFS sometimes as well alot of people suggest fosroc (sp), i havent found a supplier of that in hamilton so i have to use selleys stuff, (has a viniger smell and doesnt contain any anti fungal agents) i didnt quite understand the first q. you can paint the back (including silicon)

not by its self, but hook up a little bubble blowing machine to it and its auto lights out

a timer only turns lights on and off, if they are not designed to be turned on and off you shouldnt use them.

hey andrew i know where he lives so saturday morning while we're out picking up the tanks go round and pickup his xbox and projector for me the curtain is a good idea, it doesnt need to be there permanently. but just when your wanting to use the theatre (if its there after saturday)

the first leather (and coral) i got didnt open and then it started rotting. not too sure if the leather was happy or not
