my lombardoi bred today as well, but then about 4pm the borleyis wanted to breed and the lombardoi male (8cm) was being a little s**t and chasing them away so i took them male lombardoi out and the female borleyi is now choking on eggs

no more left sold all 55 of them lol, still have adults 1m and 3f getting big now, i also kept 5 of the juvies to grow on for breeding.

i wanted one of them for my 800litre malawi tank but i decided that a sump would be cheaper so i am doing that. let me know how it goes, always room for more filters hehe :bounce:

havent checked lately ideally kh sould be 14 i have aragonite in the filters so i might be up to that

they came with the tank, they were from jansens, polystyrene dyed green/brown, meant to look like roots, the fish have started eating all the colour off it though so it doesn't look as good :-?

sciaenochromis fyeri?? sounds ok, what temperture have you got them at?? are all the fish full grown apart from the fyeri?? have you go lots of caves?? in my 800litre tank i have like a wall like this about 40cm high in some places and goes right down the whole tank. are all your water parameters ok?? oooooooooo oooooooooo oooooooooo oooooooooo oooooooooo oo ooooooooooo ooooooooooo oo

how big is the tank and with how many fish?? what sort of filtration?? try and keep one male of each species to 3+ females you could try stripping them and then raising the eggs in a jar with meth blue and an airstone.

feed them to other fish!!! give ya $10 for a spawn if you are just gonna feed them out lol :lol: 8)
