I dont think the toughen would be a good idea, you or someone is likely to bump the edge of the glass and then the house is wet. As far as the inside nonload pane goes, why dont you get the local glass company to DG or lami it with the arcylic?

personaly i would go with the aurora, because its Mbuna and would probably go a bit better with the other fish you already plan to stock

What are the tank diamentions? I think you will be restricted to dwarf cichlids with a small tank

how big do you want it? Bin inn and liqour shops normaly have 20L-50L ones for cheap or free

I scored a heap of MDF for free from a supermarket for building frames around my stands. that would fall into the cheap catagory if you are willing to do some leg work

I spend about $40 a week just to get to polytech, not even earning a cent. $50 isnt a huge fuel budget so why not buy or ride a bike to and from?
