bta is sitting on a rock which i've taken out of it's normal place (and broke 6 pieces off a real nice pink monti digi  ), anyways i've turned the rock sideways and placed on the sand. the anemone is now at the top of the rock. i've wedged a couple rocks around it and its moved a little bit but its pedal disc is still on the original rock. i want to keep the original rock coz its got a small coral on it and it fits perfect where i removed it from!
any other tips or tricks to get it to move onto the new rock?
as i say, the product is superb, the service is crap. i dont believe for a second the cheaper system would out-perform the hrv.
just out of interest, what micron filter does the diy system have?
reef got exactly the same one i got, good for the price, reasonably accurate, a handy tool to have i believe. still haven't got around to siliconing mine up - perhaps a bit nervous to waste $50 if it leaks :-?
quite clearly zev you got it right from the start, nasa made a miniature space ship that landed in your fish tank. phone them up and tell them you know where there top secret molecular atom-ship is and you're holding all crew to ransom until they pay you 1 million dollars...
chicken. i'll do it for ya. and just so you're completely satisfied, i'll take the smaller half away... after we take a digital pic and print it out on your new printer,... ok brother?
that's where i got mine from, $110 i think. good value as they're pretty handy! chopping top off a good idea, would make the MUTHA sump not sure on resale value though!
i got one of the 1,000 litre tanks as pictured above (but pretty much brand new) that im not using quite yet. you're more than welcome to borrow if you pickup and drop it off.
i think you'll find 2nd hand streams go for about 70-80% of the price brand new because they're an exceptionally good product. much like deltec, holds it's price pretty well too because people know it will function "almost as good as it did when it was new"
