  2. Sittting in my lazy boy recovering after a hard night i noticed my daughters clown fish acting strange. on a closer look we have all been watching in amazement her clowns laying eggs. What an amazing sight. However my goby is not allowed of the rock he is hiding in quite close to there nest sight and the bangai cardinal along with my wifes regal tang are banished to the end of the tank. This is all going on in a ar620. It would be nice if we could raise some babies all and any suggestions welcome as we dont now what is needed to raise them provided the hatch. So all help appreciated and thanks in advance.

sounds like you could turn them of then if it were me i wouls still put a sponge over the intakes and leave them going
  6. looks good the blue hue will disapear or rather it wont be as blue when you add your white lights. Cleanup crew depends on what you intend on keeping. but again looks good.

    BTA

i wouldnt as this is what helps to oxygenate your water and also you if they are hooked up to your filter i beleive it could be dangerous for your bacteria. If it was me i would put a sponge over the intake of the powerheads.

    live rock question

In my experince you would be very lucky to rear baby seahorses much past a week as there is certin food they feed at certain times if you find out what good luck. As far as the shrimps go catch small ones as if your seahorses get hungry enough and decide to take on a large shrimp. This can get stuck in there mouth and result in death. So my experince is catch the smaller ones which they will eat as well it just means more trips to the rock pools. But they are cool .

    Whats Happened

Hi i have a ar620 tank with a bicolour blenny a blue tang one cardinal and two clowns. I have just noticed this morning when feeding them that one of the clowns has what looks like a wound (fresh) behind one of its pectral fins he still seems quite happy. It is red in colouration. I now my ph is out as my daughter over feed them while i was in Auckland so i have mixed up enough wter to do a quater water change to ease the ph but now that i have what appears to be a wound on my clown i am unsure if doing a gravel clean and water change is the right thing to do. All thoughts and comments welcome.
  12. again Merry Christmas and a happy new year to one and all
  13. All i can say is that i use instant ocean and i have never had any problems. I do mix it a day in advance and i throw in a air stone and a heater. In saying that i have had to do a emergency water change where i added a dechloriator to speed things up to now detrament. ( sorry if spelling is of.)
