IMO have 1-2 tanks for adults and as many growout tanks as possible... the larger the better the big tanks make fish grow quicker unless you want to do 50% water changes 2 x per day an oversized tank for grow out will earn its keep. I have 2 growouts atm and im only doing cheap zebras and im already out of room I could easily populate 20 growout tanks but no way in hell would I sell them. I have purposly let several batches go just because I cannot see a market for them (albino tropheus an Jacobfreibergies (excuse spelling))

best thing for Goldfish bowls are hammers..... Zeolite would be your best bet, directly absorbs ammonia which is you biggest issue. (but releases salt so won't do well long term) if your worried about oxygen get a small desk fan and direct it onto the top of the bowl (then take a hammer and.....)

it makes the red in the shrimps shine a bit better, plus they are kinda the colour of urine anyways (and the bulbs were free)

I have decided that the person who invented "No Salt" peanut butter must die. followed immediately my the git that thinks its ok to not label the no salt stuff correctly and clearly. my morning was RUINED!!!!

theres a really good one about 3/4 of the way to the lighthouse when coming from the surf side. big enough to swim in.

I like collecting from wharf at base of mount, always crystal clear on an incoming. plus you get to go exploring for strange things (might even find some wild seahorses when its warm enough to go in)

you get heaps or weird things around the mount. one of the few places Ive found where people don't look at you strangely for rock pooling . there's heaps of dark purple ones with red tentacles on the harbour side. and of you go to the pools on the ocean side and look closely you can find juvenile weed fish (and the other day a very tasty john dory)

I wouldn't go anyting past 4x dosage thats the highest I've ever tried, but 1-2 x dosage should be more than adequate. your only trying to clean the infected area really.
