  5. ime long term nitrate exposure causes many problems in mollies, large amounts of duck weed make mollies happy salt reduces nitrate toxicity so is normally recommended. http://www.wetwebmedia.com/fwsubwebindex/mollies.htm one of the better articles I have come across...
  6. I've seen them eat bba, and it never came back in the tank that had it (except in the filter outlet where they can't get to)
  7. I would agree. http://www.petbrags.com/profiles/blogs/fish-tuberculosis-if-you-keep
  8. you will also probably run into trouble with the guppies and the fighter and possible the dwarf gourami and fighter as well. your bristlenose will eventually outgrow the tank. I would personally get rid of the glass catfish, bristlenose, guppies and either the dwarf gourami or fighter (keep your favorite) and get 3 otocinclus catfish and a few more kuhli loaches and neons
  9. nice, gotta love the blue maomao
  10. if your getting a friend to feed them parcel up the food into single feeds, that way they can't overfeed

    Sump question

personally I do not think a sump is really required for that sort of tank set up.... Canister filters etc... would be sufficient but if you want to make one good on you, and go for it. 126L is more than enough. problems you will encounter though would be maintainting a decent syphon unless your holes are drilled at or near water level (being a turtle tank a lot lower than most tanks) and this may limit you in the future if you want you use this tank again. seriously consider an external canister for this before you start drilling. alse regarding evaporation, you should absolutely not have to worry about this as your regular partial water changes should replace this. I'm assuming you are getting your sump info from saltwater keepers where evaporation is an issue due to salinity issues. with saltwater tanks you will need to add extra freshwater to resolve this problem, but in freshwater PWC's take care of this.
  18. well played ...... Still amazed though that my dominant dem (6cm max) beat up my dominant redtop zebra (14cm (recently asked to rehome him due to being to agressive )) If I had the $$$ I'd do a dem tank p.s. love how the plants are growing out
