well i thought i might stick with ryans cichlids they look great and are growing well i have crushed pipi shell in my sump on my other tank for a ph buffer and peametal gravel as substrate but i thought maybe the sand would look good on this new one
is white coral sand good for a substrate in my new tank ?and if so where is a good place to get it and how much would i expect to pay have looked on tm and some is selling some white sand in auckland for $35 a bag
this is the tank i got off brianone in huntly the outlet pipe is in the middle and bottom of the tank and the glass tower has been removed ? i will have to make a new one mybe evil has some pics of what it looked like before it was removed
have just done a water change on the 300 litre looking good now with the demis growing and the yellows have had them a month now and they are 4x the size
thats what i intend to do evil i have a glass man that will do it all for a bottle of "JD" maybe a 100 litre sump ? the glass plates are missing from around the bottom overflow but i can get that sorted ok
