    i did a 100 litre water change today they seem to like that and they are growing big and colouring up nice now ryan

    i do constant water changes all the parameters are good some places say more light some say less ?

    anyone have any ideas on how to remove brown algae off my rocks without taking them out can i add anything to the water to get rid of it ?

    he finaly gave it to me for $50 my sales manager was down there for the national spear fishing champs so he picked it up for me

    yes starting to get it all together now have got the sump from the guy in kapiti great deal looks like new 10m glass 4 partitions 136 litre just have to figure how to arrange every thing in it

    would black/white aragonite sand be ok as a substrate in my cichlid tank some one is selling on TM for $35 a bag ?

    i have a 136 litre sump with 4 partitions so lots of scope for ideas

    i run mine over filter wool and have a fine mesh plastic filter under that to stop big stuff then over bio balls then over my crushed pipi shells but i am also looking at some thing dif for my bigger tank other than bio balls
