i am starting my tank again and had alsorts last time is there anyone from whitianga or near thats has a tropical tank ?

where is my best bet to get a skimmer and what size ? do i get i need lots of help with this tank

no it is the full one but is now empty and has already been in use as a tropical tank with bottom sump all in working order

just fish i already have a 300 litre tank and bottom sump but need stuff for salt water

well i dont really know what is happening the rest o the fish seem ok but i was told that if you have a water problem the clowns feel it first

well i did a about a 50% water change to see if that would help but my clowns are still not moving much looks like i will loose him as well damn shame he is 4 years old

i have plenty of seashell if i crush that and wash it would that do

hi caper to check the tap water i just fill the vile up as you would from the tank and put the same amount of drops in it should work the same i think

yes plenty of air in the tank dont know what the wood is tho but the tanks has been going for 3 years now will i get this shell at hollywood i need to go there for more clowns

i dont put any chemicals in the tank apart from a little piece of block from the fish shop in cascades for the algae i have no plants the rocks are south islans schist substrate is the usual fish tank peble and some drift wood

ph water level when i test it out of the tap the solution is blue how do we keep it at that level in the tank after 2 weeks the clolour has turned light yellow this tells me the ph level has dropped and my clowns do not like it have lost 2 already all other of the ammonia and nitrate tests are fine

i had the same problem with my clowns tried every thing but in the end it seemed to be back to the water quality ph was a little to low for them used some ph up 7.0 and they came right :lol:

it sure does steve i felt like taking a slice of it and putting a glass front on it
