Thanks! I did what you said and didn't do any water changes for a week, and I got it tested today and it was sweet :happy2: I'll up the water changes for a bit until the bacteria has time to catch up. Mum saw him at Animates today and couldn't resist :lol: She has a thing for them and paid for it and all (my last one passed away last week of old age). This one is really stunning, red with a gold underbelly and blue flecks like a ram :love:

Thanks! Bubba guppies They'll be moved tomorrow when I finish setting up their new tank Yeah I love the neons, they're sooo pretty in real life. The tropical bulb has made all the difference to their colour

Here we go! Today I feel like I have FINALLY finished my first proper display tank :happy1: Added a school of 25 Neons and put a tropical bulb in the light hood. Pics as of today are below (Tank looks 100x better in person!!). If anyone wants to see the progress pics let me know and I'll upload them :happy2:

Nope, haven't added any C02 or ferts It's only been another two days and the ferns have already doubled in size again -

Freddy's a mini lop cross and he happily walks on a harness and lead too. Also drinks out of the dog bowl and sleeps on his back with his legs in the air :lol:
