Is there any plants? I believe they do some reverse photosynthesis at night, so take in oxygen and expel carbon dioxide. If so there may be a lack of oxygen. Or maybe the temperature is too high? Water at higher temperature holds less oxygen than water at lower temperatures. HTH

then again sometimes you just have to pay full price because the shops still have expenses.

Hi Today I bought a new tank. :thup: Dimensions are 36x36x36cm and it is a triangle shape so base is 36x36x50ish. It worked out to be 23L approx. It has a filter with no sponge, so pretty much just a small power head. I could rip it out and put an eheim in but there's not much point. I would like to go tropical on this tank with some plants. I quote liked Sophias tank but... Ideas so far Dwarf corydoras :nilly: Killies Albino guppies (possibly breed) Danios (maybe give another go at breeding them) Or maybe some tetras. Sand substrate or I have some java moss or marbles for breeding danios. I'd love to give it another go at breeding something, maybe. I am just looking for suggestions at the moment. Thanks Matt

Not that I know much about marines, but if your doing 10% water changes a week on a 100L and it cost you $7 after a year it really adds up $7x52=$350 so wouldn't it be cheaper to invest in a RODI unit? Looking at the ones reptilez posted they are under that(based on the ones on tm). I'm not sure about all of it but makes sense in my head? Plus if you factor in what Zev said about temp and parameters, the time and money you may spend on fixing them :dunno:

But people will buy it because it's apple. I loved the 300M iPods, 16B songs(it's crazy it's like $2 a song=$$$ and 18B apps?! I believe they hopefully will develop an A6 chip possibly quad core 1.2ghz and add some more RAM in there, new design, camera looks good and can only get so good, and I reckon not a bigger screen. The latest galaxy sII screen is so big you can't type properly on it. Samsung has no case against apple in this law suit. Who made the touch screen phone first? Who made the design of iOS? And who's platform looks pretty similar. Same goes with the iPad. I will never go android because of this no matter what the specs are. I say for apple to just keep going. Android will spend millions of dollars trying to copy apple, they will try and copy the Siri and it will be so blatantly obvious! Guess I'm just an apple nut :lol:

I was very disappointed this morning, got up at 5 and watched the keynote. I said to my mates yesterday, if there is an iPhone 4S itll just have a A5 processor, and that's pretty much it. They are pulling the new voice recognition Siri from the iPhone 4S. It's only got a better antennae, works all over the world, better camera(quite high res, 8mp better focus ect.), and A5 processor, and and oh wait that's it. I was watching it live, there's a white iPod touch, a new iPod nano, icloud, iOS 5 which comes out next week, and half the other stuff doesn't come out in nz. Really not Worth it for people to upgrade from the 4 to 4S and I can see why shares in apple have dropped. I believe they should do what they did with the iPhone 3 and 3GS and bring out the 5 in 6 months or so. Can't have iOS 5 without an iPhone 5. Haha and it was funny as cook came on for like 5 minutes at the start and at the end, lol didnt do that great of a job. Keynote was very disappointing and without jobs it is just not right.

Meh I have sand in my aquarium, ran a magnet though it and it came up covered in some kind of black metal. I doubt it's harmful. I wouldn't worry :thup: :dunno:
