Exactly. I pay no attention to BMIs as my 5yo is apparently in the 95th + percentile for her age (yes apparently you can do BMIs for kids - I found an online calculator) and she is not overweight. I've talked to our doctor about it and she says she is not overweight. She is just big boned I guess. I'm considered obese (well, not sure about now, since I lost about 8kgs) and I was shocked because I don't consider myself that overweight. I know I am overweight but when you say obese it makes me think of people that are so overweight it affects their health eg high blood pressure, problems with joints and that kind of thing.... though I do have those issues now but not before having kids and I was still considered obese before having kids. I guess lifting a child that weighs about 26kgs wouldn't help   but she still wants to be picked up and sometimes I have to pick her up eg at the supermarket when she decides to have a meltdown and won't move

Well I'm 32, soon I'll be 33 and I still love it. But not trick or treating. Haven't done that since I was about 11/12yo with my younger sister. -

Ooh I love Halloween. Probably because I love horror movies and it is 2 days after my birthday :happy2: This year I'm planning to have my younger sister to stay the night and we're going to watch scary movies until late and I'm going to put up orange and black balloons and I'm just trying to think of what I'm going to do for my birthday cake ... something with a halloween theme  And I have two of those plastic jack o lanterns that have lights inside them  :happy2: because we don't have orange pumpkins here in NZ ... well, they don't sell them at the supermarket anyway... I guess I could carve a white skinned one as in the dark it doesn't matter what color it is because all you see are it's eyes, nose and mouth. But I've never carved a jack o lantern before... would probably end up cutting myself   -
Oh ok lol Yeah I wish I was a size 14 too. It's really hard to get nice clothes in anything over size 14 :an!gry which I think is ridiculous but clothing designers don't care.

If you know how to use one I have never used one, but I've target practiced with guns and tin cans before. -
I am temporarily off my diet until the cold weather is finished. I find I just want to eat all the time in Winter. As soon as the weather warms up I'll be back on my diet again. I haven't even weighed myself for probably the last 3 months because I'm scared to see if I've gained weight or not  I'm thinking about getting myself some rollerblades to use in Summer. I'm not doing as much walking as I was previously, walking my daughter to and from school each day. So I need to find another way to exercise. I don't like running. And I can't afford to go to the gym.

I think anything Zombie is cool. I used to love playing Resident Evil on my bfs playstation. I find them scarier than Vampires. But I do love Vampires too. Can't wait for The Walking Dead and Vampire Diaries to come back on. I'll never forget the night I was watching Vampire Diaries and went to make myself a hot drink and we'd run out of coffee and my hubby asked me if I had coffee and I said "no, we don't have any blood" :sml1: :sml1: I would definitely choose a gun that can shoot long range though, to kill Zombies, so I don't have to get close to them. -

Well in regards to The End of the World... it says in the bible that no one will know when it's going to happen (when Jesus is going to return) and that he will be like a thief in the night. So that would be why any Christian who knows what they are talking about, would not believe all these TEOTW predictions. But natural disasters are a different story ... sometimes we can predict them with the help of science. But you can't predict an earthquake or tsunami or volcanic eruption based on when there was last one. -
Kind of :smot: but my cat catches eels    Thankfully not too often. But boy are they hard to pick up! Last time she jumped in through the lounge window with one and dropped it onto the carpet in a hard to get to place (behind the recliner and coffee table) and I tried picking it up and kept dropping it ... eventually I managed to hold onto it long enough to chuck it into a plastic bag EWWW and then I took it outside. We have a reserve behind our house...

Yeah I completely agree. Christchurch have been through enough. I am a Christian but I would never do that sort of thing. And just because I'm a Christian does not mean I'm not afraid of dying. It's the suffering before dying I'm afraid of. I'm not afraid of what's going to happen after I die. Well, maybe a little.... lol but it's the physical pain and emotional pain of TEOTW (the end of the world) I'm concerned about. And pushing religion on people never works. I know from personal experience. I've had people push it on me BEFORE I became a Christian and it just made me more against religion every time. -

Yep unless they can tell us WHAT we can do to save our lives lol We could build an ark like Noah... but how many people could you fit in one ark? They would save the 'important' people like politicians/government etc FIRST, then doctors/nurses and other people we can't live without before ordinary people like myself would even get thought about. So I'd rather just live in ignorance lol -

Shut up shut up shut up!!!! :tears: I completely agree with you mcrudd. What do they think anyone can do to stop these things even if they are right? I think I'd rather not know and at least be able to live my last days happy and not in fear. It's even harder when you have children. Who wants to think about their little kiddies having to go through horrible things like that? -
A pig's orgasm lasts 30 minutes. (O.M.G.!!!) A cockroach will live nine days without its head before it starves to death. (Creepy. I'm still not over the pig.) The male praying mantis cannot copulate while its head is attached to its body. The female initiates sex by ripping the male's head off. (Honey, I'm home . What the...?) The flea can jump 350 times its body length. It's like a human jumping the length of a football field. (30 minutes. Lucky pig! Can you imagine?) The catfish has over 27,000 taste buds. (What could be so tasty on the bottom of a pond?) Some lions mate over 50 times a day. (I still can't believe that pig ...quality over quantity.) Butterflies taste with their feet. (Something I always wanted to know.) Elephants are the only animals that cannot jump. (Okay, so that would be a good thing.) A cat's urine glows under a black light. (I wonder how much the government paid to figure that out.) An ostrich's eye is bigger than its brain. (I know some people like that.) Starfish have no brains. (I know some people like that, too.) Polar bears are left-handed. (Talk about a southpaw.) Humans and dolphins are the only species that have sex for pleasure. (What about that pig? Do the dolphins know about the pig?) Now that you've smiled at least once, it's your turn to spread these crazy facts. (and God love that pig)..
