looks like i have 3 girls and 4 boys they are all "blushing" how nice

nope thats not it sorry as i already knew this. This red colour is definately around the gills. I just had not noticed it before

don't know where to put this. have just noticed that some of my silver dollars have a slight red blemish to the underside of the gill. Is this just a marking, sex difference, age difference, or a disease?? Please help because I cannot find much info on silver dollars Is this because they are not a favoured fish? :-?

sounds like he might run out as i would like two aswell. others want some too. too cheap or very popular?

by they way it looks like you have a male. you can tell by under the head. males have more of a 90 degree chest where females have a curving chest. Later on you can tell as some will get fat(females)

so people say. I have one female who swaps males all the time but normally they do pairup. Just remember - the female always chooses so the more the better(females)

sounds like a good idea. did you want to breed them as you might want to keep them til they are twice that so you can tell what ones are male and female

you might only want to put half of them in (s they don't get too grumpy) but mine are 14cm ish and they are fine with them. any thing else in the tank? (if ou put some in another tank you can replce others if they get pushed out)

how big is medium to you? I have put my babies in wih my fully grown(near to) ones. the babies were about he size of a 20c piece. Also how big is the tank?

so have you used it under water? did it bind to the glass wall of the tank?

turnes out that it is selleys all clear. it says on the back ok for aquarium use. but is that when it is wet? if not what sealent product shall i go buy?

i was hoping to stick it to the glass in the water. thats why I asked. Silly me i didn't say that :oops: . So is it still possible? if not I will create something then put it in.
