  7. ah mine never moved plants to make their nest =( just bubble like my fighters
  8. I have, I think may be the opposite though. I usually just have to play it by the thermometer and see how it goes. My 300W that is in my 445L is on 60% of the time and is set at 24C when the tank reads around 26-27C. I also have a 300Wblue planet which is on less Though in saying that both my Jager heaters (other a 150W) are about 5-6 years old
  9. personally I'm not to keen on the heirless viriety. I used to train mine to stand and reach out for treats, or pop their heads under water to find them. Haven't done the water for a while as they would splash it everywhere and make the floor of my room wet lol
  10. be 2 hours so I might aswell pick them up from auckland when I am that way. Thanks anyway
  11. Na me neither, Corys should be small ad cute not long and wavy :tears: IMO any way

I can make a contribution towards petrol and am happy to pick up from areas near by. i.e. feilding, bulls etc. please let me know asap thanks =) James
  14. well I will wait a few hours and them wash my hands
  15. lol just imagined my Pandas with claws
  16. That would be cool. Yes they are girls My flat mates boy never leaves her room and he has his door open all day, even when hers is. I don't think mine would ever stay in the room =p Mine used to drink from my cereal. think I may get a boy when these girls go the way of the dodo.
  17. Ok so have just got a steriod cream for some slight Eczema (Locoid Lipocream 0.1%) And at the time I didn't think of asking about the fish with this, though he probably wouldn't have known. I have to apply it twice daily and on a section of my hands so I am a little bit worried what this may do to my little finned friends. If I wait for an hour or so will it be ok? or am I going to have to invest in a set of arm length gloves? Any info would be great James
  18. Yea they are easy as to keep, not to mention cheap as chips. All I need to do is feed and water them and clean the cage once a week which takes all of 5-10 minutes. I don't know too much about lazing round as the only time mine slept in my hood was when they were young. If you are going to get a rat best to get them from a rescueor store where they haver lots of positive handeling. Mine were friendly from when I got them for this reason and when ever someones in the room they always come out to say hi and be taken for a walk
  19. yea these guys don't get much bigger than a golf ball
  20. Yea unfortunitly I only have 2 left. Been waiting for the eggs to hatch but they seem to fall off before they get a chance
  21. Ok so one week on. My Angels have started to lay again, My little Macmasterri are coming out to say hello and my Blue rams are colouring up nicely. Sorry for some of the bad photos I'm not the best at taking them.
  22. yea gluing if fine just depends on the glue. Just make sure you scrub all the debre off the out side, didn't do a good job on mine and came home to a mass of white moldy algae stuff on one peice. looked horrible. And aslong as you feed them alae wafers you can put the plec/bristlenose in now, they need more than just alae and wood
  23. you wouldn't be able to fit discus in there would you? Get some friends for your cory
