  1. I agree, better for business because Fish Addiction is contagious. If they were smart they'd offer a discount to members which would give you further incentives to offer to new members.
  2. hahaha can't be my grandma then.... she had much better manners :sml2:
  3. it's ok, she was a good grandma. She would have liked you. I think Bunny shows this by not pooping in the house haha
  4. I love those chubby chops! ....actually I have a photo of my Grandma with an expression like that. Maybe after she died she came back as your rabbit.
  5. all the best catfish are called Hoover 8)
  6. this is similar to what mine looks like.... DIY Brand...
  7. all of my floating leaves have eventually rotted away without making a baby plant... is there a trick to cutting it in a good place or just luck of the draw whether it starts a plant?
  8. Hey Dino that's a good idea. I read somewhere that if you put a potato cut side down on a heap and turn it over a few days later there are usually white worms but I've never tried it. How do you harvest your worms? Alan was that you with the potato trick?
  9. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=55587&p=603606&hilit=moss+wall#p603606 viewtopic.php?f=4&t=55509&hilit=moss+wall bit of info above...
  10. not too cold, going by what the Loachie people say http://www.loaches.com/species-index/ga ... n-scitulus
  11. found them in my old native/bugs tank log - I believe Potomogeton crispus - we weren't far off Mr Rabbit
  12. it wasn't that one, it had long stems with small spear leaves off it all the way up. Each little leaf was about 2 or 3 cm long but the stem was 30cm + . I think I saw it in a native pond plant book at one stage but have forgotten the name.
  13. In a fast flowing stream I've seen oxygen weed, aponogeton (variety I'm unsure of), a native moss of some sort. Not much help I'm afraid. :dunno:
  14. me too the loaches will be ok in a tank without an exciting water flow but they are so much more animated with some current. Seeing the fish behaving like they are 'happy' always makes me feel like I'm doing right by my pets, even though I keep them in a tank when they'd rather be in the wild. Another is maybe don't have the goldfish in there and just have the fish with slim bodies - minnows, loaches - and the shrimps. The shrimps will meander about wherever they like and are fun to watch too. If you look through my dwarf chain loach thread there are some photos and videos of the shrimps I had. Also if you search on phoenix44 and have a look at his planted goldfish tank that might inspire you to do something different for your goldfish if you liked my idea but still want to keep both sets of fish. But I see you say 'more' goldfish.... maybe you already have an exciting collection..... time for some photos I think :bounce: :spop:
  15. happy little loachie  you should post some movies on Loaches Online, they will be so happy as not many people bother to do a coldwater riffle for the hillstream loaches
