  1. he was the one everyone loved back in the day, like they do Dan Carter or the fuzzy headed one now.
  2. To be honest, last year I got killies from 2 different people who weren't members at the time and both times I tried to sell mine there was very little interest from anyone. I sold the most killies I ever had through TM. Am not saying this to be negative, but this is the reality. Even when the club was alive over the last 2 or 3 year it was very quiet.
  3. pictures won't cut the mustard I'm not too proud to eat cake in the carpark :bggrn: have you fellas worked out where and when the meeting is going to be? Is there anyone out West? I'm Te Atatu North nowadays.
  4. makes sense to subsidise NZ made shows though though there aren't many people with sense who in charge in Wellington

this idea is great and hilarious at the same time http://forums.loaches.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=24801 :slfg:

  8. and here I was thinking you were a person in your 20s or 30s. Now I know you are in your 80s :cofn:
  9. I don't go to burger joints to eat salad :yaw1:
  10. they have great milkshakes at Carl's Jnr, haven't tried the other desserts If you want cake, before burgers we could sit in the carpark, eat cake hanging around Wok's car and warm our hands on the exhaust pipe. in fact we could do that anywhere, we don't need to be at a fast food restaurant :slfg:
  11. I'm might be coming but see above post, I won't be eating a burger :slfg: Is St John's one the one out the back of Tamaki campus of university? That was one of the first ones.
  12. mine have always lived in 21-22 degrees
  13. I meant you could have both if you wanted. But I understand that the borneo suckers also like to be in groups. It's fun to have them in groups, they have bumping wars over the stones.
  14. I don't think dropsy is infectious, but you would do well to make sure the water quality is nice and clean since you've been away for a while. Am not sure that you need to go as far as a 50% water change - it's not as if you came back to a rotting fish - but you could do a 20-30% . Weaker fish can get sick if the water quality drops but the strong ones will just keep on pooping their contribution and will generally be OK.
  15. dwarf chain loaches would like that tank, lots of hidey holes and places to sit. Not sure how fast the current will be in there but they do like a bit usually. I'd put a bit of sand in the bottom too but that's just me.
  16. Went back to a different Carl's Jnr burgers this evening, and I'm now officially over it. This time had the Portobello mushroom burger and the deep fried zucchini. The zucchini were quite good, had been freshly cooked and were hot. The burger was once again lukewarm and the mushrooms were in quite a salty sauce. The burger in total was made to order, I could tell that was true, but I think the patties are pre-cooked and sitting somewhere not quite hot enough to keep them hot. After dinner I thought I'd give them one more go and see what the bacon cheeseburger was like, but an hour on and I think I won't go back unless I'm desperate to eat and happen to be passing. It cost $21.40 for those 3 items and I expect to be really enjoying my dinner when paying that much. It's a shame because they have the ingredients and combinations of flavours to make really good fast food burgers. :-?
