I hear what you're saying Kiwi but after being a member here for a year my experience tells me that threads like this just turn into an excuse for a mass stoning, where everyone will go a single member like a pack of rabid dogs, which is neither helpful or particularly kind.

Whoaaa, slow down there big boy, you need to cycle your tank before you start putting fish in there, you're gonna find those barbs are gonna cark it within the next few days. You need to take them back to the pet shop and ask them to hold them for you while you do this. Cycling will take several weeks depending on whether you fishless cycle(my prefered choice) or you use fish to cycle(you need to use cheaper fish as you may lose them in the process. This could take up to a month.

Hi and welcome

We've had 6inches in the last week, 3 occasions it's been very heavy, one night in particular we had 50mls in 20mins, over flowed 1.8mtr drains in less than an hour, caused minor race damage but nothing to get worried about, I've been doing the Snoopy dance all week, for once working in the rain hasn't worry me in the least.

Flicking through the telly last night I came across a little known NZ movie called Hidden, was approx an hr into it when i found it. Just seemed to be a montage of young peoples running through the bush, panting, growling and acting like they'd over dabbled in the wee acid tabs. But something about it drew me in and I kept watching, it was rather painful at times with overly long periods with no dialog, and extreme close up shots, and it also kept flicking from one small group to another spontaneously as well as flash backs. SPOILERS****************************** Then all of a sudden it all fell together when one of the girls realized one of their group was missing, they ran around screaming his name and finally found him standing in a clearing looking at a plaque, it is then revealed that this film is based on Cave Creek and the missing friend is the only survivor of the collapse of a viewing platform and his friends are all ghosts roaming around lost and confused in the bush. I found this revelation quite shocking and what I thought was a terrible film suddenly became a work of art, everything suddenly made sense. All I can say is it's worth a look, but just be patient and open minded.

All I can say is it's not as easy as it looks, I made a complete mess of it and now get the pros to do any trimming required.

I just had a shower and had a thought.....(amazing things showers) The second line I don't get, but the third line gave me an idea....We've already established that "my first" is the sea." And when he lives upon my first" So 'HE" lives on the ocean, a whale?, Albatross? sailor?....but how is that a whole? Blaaaag.......

This is prolly the hardest one we've had so far, I've looked at it from every angle but I just don't get it. the first line is referring to salt water it's just been written funny, it took me ages to realize what it was saying. My first(the first word) tho' water(although it is water) cures no thirst(the only water I know of that doesn't cure a thirst is salt water) So the first word is salt water or sea or ocean. The rest just has me stumped

LoL, well he has a point there..... I watched the making of the album and they asked her to just do what she felt was right, and so she did that, apparently she was quite embarrassed about it after but it was too late, they loved it. personally it's one of my favorite albums, my top 5 bands would have to be Cream, Led Zep, pink floyd, Jethro Tull and AC/DC

We tipped them all out to give the others a chance, we're quite shocked at just how much they can eat, there bellies fair bulge afterwards.

We've just spotted a whitish fungusy stuff on our BN and a few Neons, on Basil it almost looks like he's swam through a cobweb( we're not entirely sure if it is just something he's swam through or not) but on the neons it's like a fluffy white mold. We guess it's cotton wool fungus, or mouth fungus as one has a bubble like fungus on it's mouth, but the other almost seems as if it's eating it's tail, but we can't seem to find what to cure it with. We've tried searching but not found anything that we can pin down, same with Google. The few posts we did see mentioned euthanasia which has us worried. We have Melafix, can we use that, will stress coat help?....Thanks
