  1. I can, I have wholesale accounts. Trademe looks cheaper though. My sell for that would be about $50 a stick for desktop Adata DDR2 2GB.
  2. Unfortunately yes. With all the road works around the city, road closures etc for earthquake repairs as well as the fact the population has shifted massively all at once, our roads in certain directions are rather congested and can't cope with the demand. I miss not living on the south side, the drive to work was so easy.
  3. That bypass is slower for me at those times of day than it is to weave around the city! I live near Redwood Aq.
  4. As long as the expenses are legitimate then it's all good. I just have a business on the side of my day job. Made about $50k last year in revenue but with a bit of accounting, came out with a loss of about $100 I try to make sure all my purchases are under $500 + GST so I can expense them, even if they are assets. A lot of the expenses just boost up my equity in the business as they're reimbursements. Then I can legitimately spend the equity I have to reduce it down each month. Means no income tax There are grey areas of expenses that are still legal. E.g. if you go on a trip away, go visit a customer or something then claim half of the travel expenses as a business expense. If you're GST registered, make sure you get GST receipts for that stuff. If you work from home, you can claim a percentage of your floor area used for business purposes. So if you use 10% of your house, you can claim 10% of your rent / mortgage (GST exempt) and 10% of your phone, 10% of internet etc. If you are an internet based business, you could legitimately claim more of your internet costs ... say 50%.
  5. Unless I've been doing it wrong, you don't actually get a refund if you make a loss. I made a loss this financial year just been with my business but as far as I know it is just a tax credit on future years tax. The only refunds I get are on GST. If you are registered for GST and spend more on items with GST receipts / invoices etc than you do selling things, then IRD will pay you the difference back. Things like rent at home are GST exempt though, but you can claim it on power, phone, internet.
  6. I have been moving things around to help with this issue. Unfortunately, the development sites need to stay there for now as they use things from the main site. These are only being used for reference now so the impact should be less. The latest development work is being done on a different server. Fingers crossed it isn't much of a problem until we're done.
  7. What an awesome effort by McCullum. :dnc1: :happy1: :happy2: :nilly: Can't forget Neesham too. On debut, batting at #8, gets a century.
  8. If you're that worried, one of the first things you should do is not use google for searching or use chrome as your browser. They don't even need cookies. Generally cookies are pretty safe, they typically are only used to keep you logged in to sites. Once you're logged in, you can be tracked without storing any data on your computer. Ad blocking is a more effective method as some of the ad networks store cookies on your computer which then can track you across multiple sites etc. Having good ad blocking should prevent this from happening. If you're super paranoid, you'll need to run each site in private windows (most browsers have a method to do this). Even then, google can still track you using their analytics. Probably best to block that too.
  9. All good. We have a campervan, so bed is with the vehicle. Hoping to make it back to work on Monday, so depends if I can get some sleep on the ferry crossing. Otherwise, will just park up on the side of the road and sleep until early morning. Thanks again.
  10. We'll be arriving in Picton at 11:10PM ... But cheers for the offer.
  11. I'm driving Auckland to Christchurch on the 2nd March. Planning on looking at fish while I'm there too.
  12. Dave Evans if you use Facebook. He hangs around in groups like Christchurch Totally Tanked. https://www.facebook.com/dave.evans.526875
  13. Save yourself and don't watch Dexter. The writers really didn't care at all. It has to be one of the worst endings in history.
  14. I think it is the Aqua One as a base unit, but he modifies them quite a bit.

    Chillers

Do you have air con? This question really just depends on how warm the ambient air gets around your tank in summer.
  16. No ... words ... :happy1: :happy1: :happy1: :happy1: :happy1:
  17. I for one have faith in them. It's great seeing them play on home soil and doing alright again. We have a relatively young side now with a new coach, and I think that we've already sunk to our lowest point and we're now on the up again. Just look at the Aussie side. They went from a team of old hands to an almost brand new team in a season and they suffered for doing so. But they've just beaten England in the Ashes series and are definitely looking a lot better now. P.S. a blackhat is a type of computer hacker
  18. Unlikely that the web development is making just 1 thing slow like that Sophia. I'll look into that as a separate issue.
  19. I doubt it's that as he stated it did it in Chrome as well as IE. I'd be more inclined to think it is a DNS issue or some kind of internet security software. If you press the windows key + r, then type cmd into the box that pops up and press ok, you should get a black box appear. In that box type ping i295.photobucket.com It should say a bunch of stuff like this: Pinging cdn.photobucket.com.c.footprint.net [192.221.123.126] with 32 bytes of d ata: Request timed out. Is the bit in [ ] the same for you? If not, let us know what it is. The other thing it could be is the photo resizer built into these forums. I'll PM you a link to something running on our dev environment at the moment to see if the issue exists there for you.
  20. I'm sure it's not that, otherwise this forum would look pretty bad. Boxes all over the place for the top banner, user profile pics, icons, smilies etc.
  21. Depends what ones you're looking at. Chances are those images have since been deleted from photobucket.
  22. The hosting we have has limits on how many "resources" we can use. Since the development sites are also hosted here and there are people working on issues on them, those development sites can often take all the resources. The problem should only exist for a second at most really, and you will only see the message if you're unlucky. It shouldn't hang around for 10 minutes, that would have just been very unlucky with the refreshes or something major going on in the background.
