  1. I have lots of ambulia?? lol and quite a bit of java fern, red lined torpedo barbs would look awesome if the diddn't cost $50 each >.

  5. I was doing water changes on my fighters only a few days after swimming and they were all fine.... There could have been something in the water (e.g chlorine) that could have affected them, or the water could have stressed them in some way (too cold or too hot)... they could of also starved as they generally can't eat bbs untill they are quite bigger, as they are very tiny when they hatch
  6. theres one up on the wall in our house that goes in summer as well, only seem to get lots of flies when you forget to change it :lol:

  10. It looks like rotala species, could be indica or rotundfolia (usually redder) but im pretty sure its some kind of rotala....
  11. Depending on where they come from in Oz depends on their colour also (though most are still brown) , you should see if you could get any more like that where you found that one that is if it is a whistler...
  12. what do snails eat? they eat whatever they feel like... lol, waste algae, dead/dying things, plants.... not sure about the goldfish, a pic would help but it should eventually heal but won't look the same filtering a tank all depends on what you have in it(plants,fish,ect) and the type of filter (canister,undergravel,internal) could you expand on this please it would help turing off one filter probably won't hurt, but depends on the above^

  14. whats the dimensions of the tank if it was rectangular... would be easier to work it out if you do that then minus the 4 triangles out of that and the way you have written the dimensions have confused me...
  15. we have two , but they are both boys there a ablino ish budgie in one of the nest boxes outside that i'm going to try and tame though

  17. I don't think that terrestrial plants absorb CO2/ CO2 supplements though their roots so it would be of no use at all
  18. I was looking at that the other day , by the looks of the fish in it, I'd say that the dimensions would be for the whole thing not just the tank

  24. They have only got them in in the last week or so.. Saw some today when I went it and eventually bought the 5ft tank out the front
