Looks good , but I would put the rocks on more of an angle from the front,it should help give the tank more depth than it actually has (instead of strait) the planting plan sounds good as well but I would stick the val on one side only due to how it floats along the top so what did you end up using as a substrate? I can't tell from the pic I would have the BN if he was a male and you lived closer (I have a female that wants a friend)

as far as I can tell he's a bit sleepy at the moment , the rosetail look is probably because he is still growing (5cm from nose to end of tail)

glass cats and danios will be fine together Where are you getting the blue mystery snails!!!!! they will be fine as well I am jealous !!! the stocking levels depends on what else you want and how many of the danios/glass cats you are gonna stick in there Not sure about the heater though, I probably wouldn't trust it seeing as it is also second hand... if you wanted another heater aqua one's are pretty cheap and reliable -
I got some more on top , I was reading though one of the crypt blogs as well and it showed quite a few pics of the substrate they were growing in with leaves mixed though it so I thought it might be providing something for them.... The other leaves I am not going to stick in there until the crypts grow in some more

he's kind of little for his age, 4/5months old now and can't get any more pics of him at the moment as he's having a snooze the reason for his anal(bottom) fin being a bit uneven is because someone thought it looked tasty :evil: So do you think he's a HM?

Update: I was originally going to swap the 10 harlequins for some credit at the LPS then buy the danios but I wasn't allowed to some of them (ole 1 eye isn't there lol) there is now a honey gourami in there, (and a small fighter for now) he goes a chocolate colour when he's happy and I diddn't want to get rid of him

I'm might get one, do you reckon there's a way that you could drill/attach a 2ft tank as a kind of sump? that way you could then swap the fish round and have plants in there rather than the little compartments... if you read my earlier post
