  1. Lol, okay this is how my 120gallon is stocked as of this minute (a mate just gave me a load of fish) Thats OVERSTOCKED!
  2. Nah just got a decent sized O today. The medium one is not frasers, its about 4'', and is stable, ive had since it was a baby. Hey fraser I found some senegals that arent albinos, search on trademe for senegalus.
  3. I have a clown knife... 3''... $20 bro! Oh and deetrav, im selling my smallest indo for $70, and my medium one for $80... both stable and on pellets.
  4. What type of syno is that? Looks like a featherfin. We got some of them today, pretty cool.
  5. You wont be able to keep anything whatsoever with a salvini pair - they will quite easily take over a 4ft tank and destroy anything else in it. And theres a good chance the male might kill the female at some point also. So yeah, 4ft tank, just the pair. The differences between male and female are in the colour and finnage. Females from memory have a black spot in the middle of the dorsal fin which males do not. I havent bred them myself, but have a bit of experience with keeping them. Hope this helps
  6. PM a-town. he has it, well priced too, and its really good stuff - not a fine sand, more like a fine gravel. heres a pic
  7. Theyll be sold still as borneo tigers so will be the same price as the ones that are currently imported.
  8. Yes. it sits near the bottom of the heater to keep the bottom off the glass as the suction caps are usually half a kilometer away at the other end of the heater.
  9. Im working with the importers supplier in asia! ive educated the importer on the different types of dats, and which ones I want brought in.
  10. Nice I wanna wait to see if i can get NGT or NTT dats before switching to cichlids. I was just attempting random photos too. Here one of my biggest dat with my smallest dat. lol. The big one is the one i got off fraser. cant get it stable yet. Once ive moved a few fish on, will remove the last hiding place and see if he stables.
  11. And im thinking how cool it would be to have a tank full of them! but then again, it might be a pain if i cant sell them as they grow so fast... mmm.
  12. ive been saying i might be interested, only if they are a breeding pair of oscars.
  13. hence why im considering taking the pair of his hands
  14. jagers come with those plastic white round thingies that go on the bottom of the heater to prevent contact between tank and heater
  15. Id maybe be keen on taking the oscars of your hands. but ill have to give it a lot of thought. I might be needing to cash up most of my rarer, more valuable fish. Have they bred before? are they still spawning? any pics of them?
  16. Yeah we have ours just sitting in the sumps, same with quarantine too. they arent even flat on the bottom, just sitting there. does the job.
  17. Jager jager jager. Dont be a cheapscate, buy the best and reduce the risk of frying your fish! With $1000 worth of lifestock I wouldnt dare look at a cheap heater.
  18. I have a 30cm fire eel that might go well... Personally id concerntrate on dats, then just with a few bottom dwellers - knives, bichirs etc...
  19. So much inbreeding of poor stock - whaddya expect when every tom, dick and harry breeds them unintentionally.
  20. Good decision to keep em deetrav, as the above list id put a total value of only about $300 ish
  21. Oooh those are some nice aros, AND they have a widebar dat too!
  22. I know one supplier that has a few greens left. The wholesale price is rather high, and the price it would retail for would be much higher unfortunately... maybe around 700-800?
