  1. Poly helps take up irregularities and any peices of grit that may be under your aqaurium. Even a little stone under your tank when filled with water will crack the glass.

It can be anywhere from 1mm up I think, might have to get that one confirmed. My thinest peices are about 1mm thick.

It doesn't have to be polystyrene, camping rolls will do. You can get them from the red shed.

  2. I had an underwater disposable in Fiji, got one good-ish pic and that was of a school of fish 3 metres away. :-?

The underwater casing sounds good, better than buying a new camera with the same sort of thing except built in. Right?

We didn't stay in a resort, we had a little house right on the beach that was paid for by the night.

  3. The second male, he has a slight kink at the base of his tail but has nice colouration. Would go well with the female:

The female, she's more interested in the first male then the second but show interest in both of them:

    And them all:

The whole lot of them only cost $30, $15 for the 1st male, $5 for the second and $10 for the female. Super stoked.

  4. Got fish today. 3 little fighters, 2 males and a female. I'm pretty sure they're Deltas but could I have some confirmation on that please? They're still small so have some growing to do still.

Here's the first male, he has the biggest spread, I think:

  5. Just try to maintain heat in the tank, most hardy tropical fish can stand a lower temp for a while. Yes, some people do have backup generators but if worst comes to worst, bag up your fishes and put them under your jumper
