I think the rule is when they can eat normal fish food and are big enough not to be swallowed, they can be sold.
-
And how would you suggest doing that?
So if I let them see ea other and they got bored, and then removed the dividers, they'd be fine?
-
But if I leave them looking at ea other, they'll stop flaring?
-
Hardly need mirror training, they flare at the girl and sometimes ea other all the time. Maybe they'll calm down, I've only had them for a day....

Poly helps take up irregularities and any peices of grit that may be under your aqaurium. Even a little stone under your tank when filled with water will crack the glass.
It can be anywhere from 1mm up I think, might have to get that one confirmed. My thinest peices are about 1mm thick.

It doesn't have to be polystyrene, camping rolls will do. You can get them from the red shed.

They look just like mine!
I'm considering keeping mine, I'm getting quite attached. If they didn't grow so big then I'd ask to buy yours and have a nice school in my 3 footer
-
If you're running an undergravel filter then the brown water may be from ferts going through the filter.

I had an underwater disposable in Fiji, got one good-ish pic and that was of a school of fish 3 metres away. :-?
The underwater casing sounds good, better than buying a new camera with the same sort of thing except built in. Right?
We didn't stay in a resort, we had a little house right on the beach that was paid for by the night.

Rarotonga is awesome, been several times. The fish and corals are fantastic.
Don't bother with disposable underwater camera's, they're useless.
-
Instead of starting a new thread for my two new fish, I'll just use my old one. If that's okay? :-?
So are these Delta or HM. I'm thinking Delta but I'd like a confirmation.
Thanks

The second male, he has a slight kink at the base of his tail but has nice colouration. Would go well with the female:
The female, she's more interested in the first male then the second but show interest in both of them:
And them all:
The whole lot of them only cost $30, $15 for the 1st male, $5 for the second and $10 for the female. Super stoked.

Got fish today. 3 little fighters, 2 males and a female. I'm pretty sure they're Deltas but could I have some confirmation on that please? They're still small so have some growing to do still.
Here's the first male, he has the biggest spread, I think:
-
You could always show it a mirror, that might make it feel more secure.
-
Just one? I thought they had to be in schools?
-
They're not as easy, but far less expensive. Much easier to stock a larger tank though
-
Just try to maintain heat in the tank, most hardy tropical fish can stand a lower temp for a while. Yes, some people do have backup generators but if worst comes to worst, bag up your fishes and put them under your jumper

That's a bit soft!

I got a bit light headed when I was getting the extractions, mean buzz though
Got the day off school and was drooling blood for ages. Punched myself in the face and didn't feel it. Would have been a great time to get a lip piercing.
-
I to get four teeth removed so I could get braces, no wisdom teeth though. I just some numbing cream and then an injection. Couldn't feel a thing and it was rather funny actually. Dentist twisted and yanked until he got them out. One of them was pulled out with such force that it flew across the room. I still have the teeth in a little zip-lock bag.
-
I'll have it!

If you ever hit Rock Bottom Nymox, you would be more than welcome to come knocking at my Door
As long as you are a cat

Which fish is that Zev?
-
Suds = My Budgie, named him while "we" were doing dishes.
Skylla = Cat. Liked the name.
That's all. I don't name fish.

Wow, you're going all out aren't you? This tank holds 24L, correct?
Hopefully I'm getting a 35x30x30cm tank made soon, to got along side my 3 footer. Nothing fancy, maybe a Riccia and/or Glosso tank.
What tail type is my Betta?
