omg id die at a bill that much Thanks to the poster about the heaters i wil check the turtle temp maybe that can go down a bit i did turn the others down a bit but when it gets too cold they drop down below 25 so i have them on 28 they range from 26-28 whats the lowest you can have them without affecting the fish anyone know ty ty

22 litre baby one i prob just leave the fish and a bit of water in that 60 litre half circle one with stand and 90 litre one turtle is 3 foot i will get someone to move that for me

Hi !!!!!! moving house in 3 weeks or so when the new place is ready Its just around the road sooooo can i run up the road with a fish tank lol JOKES 3 tanks fit in car so thats good. NOW i got buckets and bags for the fish. I plan on moving one tank at atime and baggin all the fish and plants Do i have to put the plants in water if they are in a bag and also do I have to take the gravel out of the tank when I shift it int he car sittin on the back seat thanks in advance ps the tanks are those new ones and have plastic bottom with that stuff in it ya know what i mean lol

Hi ya sorry about allt he stupid power threads but I need to know if there is a problem with my stuff I will keep it breif Power bill before winter always around 400 units so under 100 dollars power bill winter 700 units !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i nearly died bill 180ish 160 with discount !!!!!! Have used dryer a bit here and there no electirc heating, new thermostat in hot water bla bla Thanks 1. 3 foot turtle tank, with 300 watt heater, and elthiim filter and 2 foot light 2. 60 litre curved glass tank 2 x aqua one small filters and one 100 watt heater and lights in hood 3. 90 litre guppy tank, 150 watt heater, lights in hood and trickle fitler 4. 22 litre baby tank, lights in hood trickle fitler and heater 55 watt How much a month do your fish tanks use? maybe im gonna have to get rid of one but then i have no where to put the babies and they breed so much lol Im gonna turn all the stuff off i dont use this month and see if that helps a bit. thanks if u can let me know about yours ty

they all ok now i got better ones and used the less wattage in smaller tanks APART FROM MY POWER BEING AN EXTRA 150 UNITS !

hi adodge ty no fertilzer, baby tank they came out of and other tank they are doing ok in are trickle filters about the tank this one they are not doing well in has 2 small aqua one internal filters in it, same gravel, I think its the lights for some reason, the other lights are the newer kind the substrate has flourite in it ! maybe I will just stick with the plants that do well in there and leave the ferns in the others hehe

ceratopteris thalictroides and says water fern is that the same family as indian fern and why would it break up and die when i move it from another tank thanks

its doing great in my other 2 tanks with plants over 1 and a half feet high im trying to find it on line

lol im chilling no its not the indian fern thats gone all brown in my other tank but theres lots of little ones i was told this is hen and chicken i look for a pic of it and tell u what it is LOL that might help ~~~~~

BUT it grows big and it sort of waves in the water and lots of lil babie plants float of the top it does ok in my other tanks cheers

no your just being smart I dont know the name of the plant a lady told me thats what its called. instead of pulling faces or being stupid why didnt u tell me i got the name wrong? ifs your life that boring u have to come on here and be smart?

oh bik you are getting lots of fish u must have the bug like i had haha aint worn off yet but it does i had tanks yrs ago then now now 4 again !

jebo 760 tank approx 60 ltr 2 x aqua glow tubes about 6 months old 8 watt each i put some massive hen and chicken ferns in there from my other tank (which has the new kind of lights) when i put them in this one they only lasted a week and kinda wilted and broke up Why is this????? the water sprite does that too but not the camboda and a few other plants

I got a 100 watt one for my 60 litre tank and put the 55 watt in the 22 litre tank And keep the 25 watt one as a spare!!!!! a lot of ppl i have asked who have fish have said theres sturggle in the winter god in the summer i had to open the lids of my tanks they were getting up 32 degrees !

i do see the odd fish i didnt know i had !!!!!!!! i only brought 3 plants the rest i got off this man and they just grew some didnt do so well i stick to the easy ones

I dont mind a few more platys or swords in my community tank but my guppies bone like there is no tomorrow and honestly i have about 80 fry in a 22 litre tank, give it a week there will be more they are TAKING OVER MY HOUSE !!!!!!! On that note, i have some lovely blonde guppies that are snake skin patter with neon yellow tails and a few nice black and white checkered tux male Just unsure what females to keep :bounce:

OMG same with me they keep coming out !!!!! i dont know where to get a big strip of lead from either and aaronbeta haha the guppies love it, plus i transfer a lot of plants to my other tank where they dont seem to do so well so it keeps me in plants, dont ask me why they grow so well its either the lights in the tank or the gravel with the porus stuff in it, lol @ fish pressed up against glass
