thanks whetu i noticed a lot of bits of food left over in my fry tank so maybe im not making the food small enough Oh and i did something really silly ! used one net or all 3 tanks now i got snails in the lot of them im livid grrrrrrr so not i got to try and get them out carefully grrrrrrrrr

lssmith i dont feed mine fresh food only flake and dried worms etc

cichlid7 yes its been hard to sleep lol in this heat and thank you everyone else i keep an eye on them so they dont get tooo hotits about 28 in side here grrr

:bounce: hi ya my 2 main tanks the temperatures are going up They guppy one is usually 25 its upto 28 in the heat and the communtiy tank is usually 27 its going up to 28.9 Is this gonn affect my fish I have digital themometers (excuse my spelling real tired ) Thank you

neons and guppies should be fine i had my neons in with them But i did have my tank set up for a month, the other guppy tank only 2 weeks touch wood it was ok But you must cycle ive been lucky soooooo far

ryan no I didnt bad move? they are all ok I feel like taking the deformed one back but I know what they will do with it I dont have another tank to quarantee fish the ones i sold them they just bunged into their tank Said the might get eaten, i said well why dont you take the plays out then grrr They all seem to be ok. I found my gupppies are very messy but was told it could be my cat fish or my filter I just brought a new 120 litre auqa one tank and stand its got the filter on the top so that will be better ! good on you for puttin old media in there, and i dunno i was told not to worry about 0.25 by some ppl my fish didnt die i lost one platty to something though and one cat fish with a tank with no ammonia BUT my friend i have had 0.25 ammoia problems in my jebo tank !!!!!!!

I agree with previous poster. Also about the filters I have old ones that are used etc I will be updating these later with the best I can afford 1200 ltr hour ones

hi joilet. I will let the others answer about the ammonia as they are more experienced !!!!!! I feed my guppies twice a day, there is bits about guppies on here Be aware you will get babies if you have male and female I already have had at least 200 babies. Hehe I brought a new 120 litre so hopefully I can have about 50 guppies in there without over crowindin it From my experience with the ammonia, its not good to have any as it can weaken the fish etc If you have 0.25 make sure you change your water frequeltnly that will get rid of it cut right down or dont feed for a few days ( i konw not feeding is hard) Good luck you got the same fish as me !!!

Hi ya checked it lastnight seemed to be green on the test kitt BUT did it today and its yellow so yay

Checked the Ammonia there is none the reading was 0 so yay !!!! I keep an eye on the fish see if they are ok the ones i saw on line did have red parts around the gills maybe its their colour spots?

ok had another look the platy is a funny shape like the top of it so it must be a dud hahaha doing an ammonia test now ! :bounce:

HI ya everyone me again hehe I got 2 salt and peper colour platys from the bird barn and 2 white ones with black spots, the white ones look ok but their gills look a bit red The salt and peper ones (i think) they have blue in them, they look very thin, one was preggers when I got it, but not its sort of flat lookin if it had its babies( i cant see any but in my communtiy tank most get eaten) do they go flat lookign? One looks like its a bung shape maybe I got a bung one !!! ha They are swimming around and all the rest of the fish look ok I will do another water test as the one yesterday was light green i think IVE GOT AMMONIA AGAIN !!! When i can afford it im gonna get a 1200 ltr an hour aqua one filter hopefully this will help !!!! This tank has been a night mare, adodge has seen it and said it dont look like there is too many fish in there I have 15 neons about 14 platys, 2 swords and 4 cat fish !!! tank has been set up for 8 monthss anyway I just wanna know about the fish
