:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: i have about 80 guppie babies in my baby tank maybe I should throw them all back in there !!!!! i seen so many tanks on line and trademe with 100s of guppies in a 100 litre tank or so but im not so game

i will get some more gravel though its a bit low in that tank from not having enough when i got the new one. The lights seem fine i will also get some plant food

thanks ira i make sure i cleaned it right out my indian ferns are dropping off a bit but i was told maybe its coz they grew too fast should i give them all a good trim? I have been moving the bigger ferns to other tanks my 22 litre tank has the hen and chicken fern in it too and its huge i cant give any away as i have small snails lol

i cleaned out my 90 litre guppie aqua one tank i think it is i fixed up all the plants and rearranged them i counted at least 70-80 about 30 indian ferns, 40 hen and chicken some small and a few other diff ones i make sure i get the dead bits out etc can you have too many in your tank

yep thats what i think happened omg it bloomed now its dying off, i got a few more growing some little ones, the plants were given to me, out of a bucket someone had peices in there should i trim them or they had it

ohhh go for something easy at frist like camboa or something like that, i have 3 tanks one the lights not so good, the 90 lltr aqua one the lights are great in that my indian ferns are dying thou dunno why they boomed now they looking shabby they were nearly like 2 feet high, i got this other plant i think its nick name is hen and chicken fern omg that just grows like no ones buisness do plants die when they get to a certain height>\?

do gold fish need a heater?

got 100 one auqa one heater 22 bucks and its going on and off like it should lady said lots of ppl in there buying them as its so cold i see if my 55 watt one is ok for the 22 litre tank i dont really feel like buying another one for that and 100 watt prob fry them poor babies

I think its 60 litre the heater is just going up to 27 thats ok but its staying on its 55 watt so 100 watt for that one? the 150 watt in my 90 litre is fine and will the 55 watt for the 22 litre be ok should be aye thanks again

they were both 2 months old, but i should of got bigger ones, hopefully the 55 watt one will be ok for the 22 litre tank they are fine in the summer just not when its cold like this i will get a few more, dont hurt to have a few spares either !!

the 55 watt one is not doin what it should its on all the time and i turned it up the tank is about 60 litres but thats a guess, so should i get 100 watt or 150 i got a 150 in my 90 litre and its same brand and that goes on and off ALSO my 25 watt one in the baby tank is staynig on too so i will put this one in there and see ! see what happens when you buy cheapo stuff :bounce: and the heater that has lasted 13 yrs is a jager 300 watt i think, i got it from a pet shop years ago and it was second hand then !

they are workin ok i might get a bigger one if i have problems always good to keep one for a spare i noticed with the aqua one the degrees drops a bit i also got digital temp things are they very accuate cheers

i can watch mine for ages too i had a 3 foot tropical tank years ago and it had a pleco the size a 12 shoe it use to sit there ppl thought it was a rock i remember one lady screaming when it jumped up and sucked on the glass lol i had that for about 10 years it was WEIRD lol

i dont know but its german that one has lasted ages the others never seem to be that good

I think its coz they are cheapo ones, i got them brand new off trademe 15 and ten bucks the one in my turtle tank is german is at least 14 yrs old lol and i got that second hand and it still works :bounce:

they are aqua one ones from memory the temp is goin up maybe the 55 watt one is too small but i think i always had my tanks around 25 and the other one 27 put them up a bit over 2 days its very cold here hehe im just about sittin on top of the gas heater

hi my tanks are sitting on abotu 24-25 i had heaters on 26 but since its been so cold they are on a lot should i put them both on 28? on tanks is about 60 litre and heater is 55 what aqua one and other tank is 150 wat 90 litre

i got ten for ten bucks off trademe so look on there a few of mine had died but i wouldnt mind a few albino or diff colour ones later

most ppl hate snails, i have them in my baby tank with the ton of guppies, BUT if you like them leave them in, they also spread too that tank you have is small? all you have to do once a week 25 precent water with a gravel cleaner, clean the glass rince out the filter in the water from the tank every few weeks and boom should be no problems i just do mine when i feel like it now or they look like they need it I learnt my lesson from over feeding i have bred some nice blonde guppies and some tux ones with amazing tails this lot dont look as nice for some reason lol

oh neat they are nice, make sure you dont get too many more for a while and keep checking your ammonia levels and water changes :bounce:

dont worry we all learn from mistakes pet stores will sell you anything somethings u need the test kitt is a good thing to get :bounce: its hard to knock off a guppy !
