hi great thanks thats what i will do whats the mimimum size I should get another 90 or 100 litre and i just take the babies out and put them in the fry tank I think i only got ten girls mine all got old and a few dropped off BUT i kept some younger ones thanks for the advice Be good to make enough money to cover the power in winter

I have my 90 litre tank all set up im getting about 100 plus babies a month thats with about 30 guppies in there i need a few more girls anyway I put the babies in 22 litre tank and then sell them Should I set up a 2 or 3 foot tank and stand and throw the babies in there?? or if your gonna breed more, would you have another 20-30 guppies in there? and let htem have babies I want the babies to be seperate as its easier etc

Ive only used 369 units so by time meter reader comes it will be 400 but thats only for 3 weeks i worked out now im 14-15 units a day for 2 ppl, tvs comptuers, electric blanket, fridge, stove, bla bla bla 4 heated tanks ! 100 units cheaper than the other old place but the hot water there wasnt the best !

I had one that was 180 but i used the dryer i have tv, comptuers, 4 tanks, showers cookin dryer maybe twice a week electric blanket etc so not to bad for 130 i use electric heating now hate gas so if I can keep it around 150 i be happy

Mark well i sold some guppies i had so that helped i have 60 litre 90 litre, 22 litre and 3 foot turtle tank would that add up to 35 like yours??? my last bill was 130 in the summer its under 100 I try save power where i can but I LOVE MY FISH

well after using one for 12 yrs and seeing how my house got from the mould never again ! if i do use it only be for when its real cold id rather have an electric heater on than posion myself ! :lol:

oh wow 21 bucks is good in auckland its over 30 now so yours is prob cheaper but the carbon stuff the heater gives off is bad for you and gives bad headaches i am giving my brand new one brought about 3 months ago away after seing the mould it created in the old house My new heater dont ask me what kind its half like an oil heater and half convection on low uses 25 cents an hour plus we have a fire place which wood is so dear Gas heaters have been banned in so many countries and they are gonna do it here too plus they only last a few yrs !

highest mine was 180 last month 130 but ive moved i think my hotwater was old in the old pace and jolet gas heating is bad for your house and health, it makes the place damp, and also costs more per hour then an electric heater (i have gas) but the gas one is a nicer warmth

Could of just been a certain batch but its deff the filter and id love a 3 foot jewel but bit out of my price range !!!! my 620 aqua one i think 90 litre is only a yr old and that does me i got that for 300 bucks !!!!! Ya would die if ya knew what the pet stores pay for the tanks lol and to the person who said about the original tanks, the ones with just glass lids they are a lot cheaper but then you need stand, I have my turtle in a 3 foot one ! so much easier to clean

They did give me a big strip of it once and i used that where I had too

fish were fine in the other tank, had to buy external filter and have the j one taken out it was absoulte crap the pet store said there is prob with the filters !!! Might of only been one line but wow the tanks are nice !!!!

I have found the condensation sits on the lip of the lid thing where its meant to drain off, my old second hand one it has damaged the stand in places. the other one is ok I have moved and the floor is better here where the tank is so keep that inmind The Jewuls are lovely id love one but id buy another filter after seeing my friends fish die

I will try that with the bigger ones i think the cat fish jump on them too and let them loose OMG if i got fertilizer my plants would take over my tank and prob grow out ! hahaha

I will take it out today I only use lead when I have to as I have about 80 plants in my 90 litre lol I will get a few more bags of fine black gravel I obviously need some more !!!!!!!!

a few of mine got big wart things on them and died and as jim said, i noticed mine looking a bit sad so I changed the water do it when your tank is lookin a bit ick i use to do weekly but i cut it down a bit now as it was too much work, my tanks are near windows thank god ! so they are easy to empty lol

? I found some lead but i was told its solder can i use this for my tank? i used a bit where I had too the fish seem ok, also where can I get some proper lead the one at the pet shop is like 5 bucks for a few strips in a pack what do u use Ps I shifted tanks all moved wasnt as hard as I though !

my aqua one filter on the top is great i find it better than the smaller tank i have that has 2 internal ones and the jewel ones my friend brought one of them lost half of her fish coz of the filter in there jewel said there is problems with them so she got an external !

yh i put all mine up and got new heaters then turned them down a bit they are sitting on 24/25 they fish are ok my power is less this month thank god
