  1. Billaneys is the unofficial other Petshop
  2. Hi Bluetom. I would think that you just may get away with it... but when they get to 3cm I would start taking them out. My 2 pairs of rams are only 3cm and they are spawing quite regularly. You may want to add some peat into your filter or tank to soften the water though. and bring the temp up to 28 degrees C note that at 2cm they should be ready for spawining Wok
  3. The Kribs that I got are Albinos as the eyes are pink and the slight yellowy tinge is now all gone and showing all white
  4. Now now Mystic  Have you got ballistic to jump into the big tank and act like a starved fish looking for food on the surface?
  5. OK Mike I will show up to your meeting, most likely be coming with snowman. Wok
  6. If you can lay your hands on some water sprite or indian fern, both of these plants are very good at absorbing extra nutrients and clears green water quite nicely..... so I have read in the TFH magazine
  7. whoops   All good I GOT MINE TODAY TOO!!!  :bounce: :bounce: Mum had dropped it somewhere and she only just gave it to me. So Happy Happy Happy
  8. Hey No Fair  Snowman is just down the road from me and he gets it first? :-? White worms

Better still.... use a screwdriver and poke some holes into the lid. Keeps most of the light out and allows air for the whiteworms. Just make sure to keep the compost moist. If you need a culture I have them for $6 including postage. Cheers Wok

    Blue Ram Eggs

Aargghhh   Talk about frustration... Rams are up to their 6th batch of eggs and every time they get eaten :-? they have now moved from laying eggs on a terracota pot to laying eggs directly onto the gravel. Well at least they are laying on a regular basis... been feeding them Daphnia and whiteworms  Oh welll let you know how things go.
  16. My Rams are on a diet of Daphnia and White worms. This is only because these 2 foods are cheap (free) so don't have to go spend money on them. Banana Skins for Daphia (Insides for me) Bread Crust for Whiteworm (insides for me) and yes the Rams are laying eggs quite regularly... another good thing about live food is that they don't pollute the water.
  17. It definitely is a good way to solve those problems :bounce:
  18. I find that my striped lineatus like small guppies as food. CHOMP... one mouthful of guppy.
  19. The albino Pindani looks nice. :bounce: :bounce: The others look ugly... but thats my opinion

  22. Or you could Hire someone from Student Job search to come on a weekly basis and do the water changes for you. You didn't mention whether you wanted a free auto water changer
  23. That is why I was wondering. yeah... as you said the albino wcmm weren't albinos afterall but Hey they are white in colour so worth something. The recipient isn't complaining
  24. Just wanted to know whether is anything such as Golden Kribensis. Just asking cause I Bought a pair of what was labelled as Golden Kribensis, but upon closer inspection at home I found that they had Pink Eyes. To me that mean Albinoism.... Any Ideas?
