What would the level of pH be?

Hi.. I have just scoffed down a few dozen oysters and have 2 bags full of shells. I was just wondering what affect they would have in a fresh water aquarium if at all it can be used. Help would be much appreciated. Cheers

if they are in a breeding tank then No, you don't need a container. But Mrskz said they were in her community tank. so container would be needed so that she can take the container out when it is full and raise the eggs up in another smaller tank so the fry don't get eaten by everything else

definitely need a license to catch trout. and the limit is 3 fish per day. there are heaps at the national trout hatchery in Turangi. Was there in the weekend. definitely need cold water about 10 degrees I think and constant flowing water. the bigger ones in the grow out tank had a wicked flow going in it rapid water. was so tempted to grab a couple of the young fry.. egg sack still attached.

get a small container... say an oyster pot. cut a round / square hole in the lid. Half fill it with peat stick it in the tank. hopefully the killies will lay eggs in the peat.

As per the instructions on the bottle. I didn't do any water changes until the BBA all died then did 50% change then back to normal weekly changes.

Yep. as luke said. Need to use the Exel Flourish I do a double dose right from the start. Only do a water change when all the black beard agae is dead. Usually takes me a week. and that is with a lot of BBA. Had no problems on my clown loach or discus. Thats my opinion anyway.

Bath would be a bit small. Spa pool however.... :roll:
