quickest way to kill a fish is to chop its head off with a nice sharp knife When i go fishing and catch the big one i use a spike into the brain.. quick and painless

Yeah I know how big the jags can get. untill that time they will stay in their existing tank.. as they get bigger the other fish will come out.

My tank is only 3ft x 1 1/2 x 1 1/2ft I have 4 little jags.. 15cm each and 7 gold severums and 9 convict cichlids. All very happy in the tank.. running a Fluval 403 in it.

So the moral is that if you have a V* Turbo Holden you will get the fish home much faster :lol: :bounce:

Yep. As everyone else said... Yes to all of the above. I have 4 in my community cichlid tank and they seem to be fine. Convicts are the rulers in my tank.

Now if you drive a Holden V8... your fishies will survive without any problems. instead of 1 1/2 hours you will only be 1/2 hour :lol: Now we are back on topic on the other hand if you drive a FORD (Fix Or Repair Daily) you will need to have a heated chilly bin to carry your fish :lol:

Fish don't normally breed in my tanks. But this was something new to me so making the most of it while it lasts Who knows when they will stop and then I will have no babies at all to look after

Done that Caryl All covered with water damage from broken aquariums. Now I have strategically placed them around electrical equipment. :lol: Just Kidding :roll: now I have special note in my policy stating that I have aqariums

Insurance would replace the carpet due to damage by the water. I believe a win win situation :lol:

You'll find that a 303 in a 4ft tank doesn't create that much of a flow. I placed the inlet hose at one end of the tank and the outlet at the other end so that I would create end to end flow... seems to work ok.. fishies tend to be happy and my Gold Gourami is randy as ever. easiest way to get the filter running is, instead of sucking on the pipe, get you hands on one of the little ball things that does the sucking for you.

Thanks Spidersweb Didn't really take much doing to not have the convicts breed. They supposedly breed like rabbits but I have only ever seen them do it once. Same goes with Killies... they supposedly like to commit suicide by throwing themselves out of the tank but mine are pretty laid back and stay inside their tank :roll: Just can't make any sense of it
