There are 2 varieties of Tiger lotus Green Tiger Lotus (Green with red speckles) Red Tiger Lotus (Red with Green speckles) Both of which I have seen at Pupuke Aquariums

I believe that the big fish is a female and the other 4 are males and it is that time of year again. best thing to do is to take 3 of the chasing males out and leave a male and the female to get on with it. Hope that helps Wok

Ok I have breeding at the moment the following Chocolate Australes Gold Australes Gold Gardneri are not up to doing nookie at this time. but do have a young up and coming male that looks promising.

If you have a MACRO function, Turn it On. That helps heaps

Only getting nasty to the other severums. Chocolates, Gouramis and Kribs are left alone.

got 3 kribs 3 x chocolate cichlids (4th one got moved to the 3ft institutionalised tank for bad behaviour) 3 other gold severums 3 x gold gouramis

Hi. What should i do with Gold Severum Eggs? My Severums have only now decided to pair up and do some spawning. one pair has only this morning dropped some eggs on a plastic container I have in the tank. Should I leave the eggs for the parents to fan? OR Take it out and place it in a seperate tank with an airstone running by it? This is the first time that my convent has had any eggs. Thanks.

I have reason to believe that the apple tree was in fact a pomegranate tree I can take you round to the different stores on Saturday. Might be worthwhile to call Brent at Pupuke aquarium and see what he has. I know tha Hollywoods normally has a few plants. Not necessarily the ones you are after.

I would say if it is possible to have both filters running When you get the other tank fixed you won't have to go through the cycle again and you will be up and running as soon as you fill the tank.
