  4. Yes. Must-Not-Paint-Oak polish it and then I would put a matte varnish on it, or if its not dark you can change the colour by darkening it and then putting a matte varnish on it. you must be able to see the natural grain of the wood. That sounds like a lot of fun. Added bonus much?
  5. I got 6 more today, making a total of 8. Once they get bigger and healthier with all the food in going to give them - Let the breeding begin. Hopefully there will be enough to go around.

  9. I had an exam yesterday, and today. Todays one was fantastic. Yesterdays one was fine. 1 more exam :-? in a week, and then im done yeah, it was grown emersed, and needed conversion. only had a couple of the submersed leaf but the growth has been fantastic over the last week. im hoping i can grow enough of it.

  14. hmm. water flow should be the least of the problems. I filter 1300LPH on a 54L tank, and there is a HOB as well
  15. I have a "project" tank that is coming along well. Out of fluke it has grown some algae that is beautiful, and i would like for it to spread across the sides and the rear wall of the tank. It has stopped growing unfortunately :-? and i needs to make it grow! how can i make it happy and grow?

  17. I looked at the leaves right at the bottom of the picture, as the top was too bright, and made it look like ambullia.

    phil- What we are trying to say, is that there is more than one colour morph of each species of fish / animals. It would be like saying I am a different species to Dixon cause im taller and darker (that would be wrong :lol: ). Sizes, just like colour may differ between variants of the same species as well. There are many many "lancelota" species that are still not described as of yet. To say it is a different species altogether is a claim that must be verified with genetic information, so that its phylogeny may be traced back. It must be verified with real genetic information - not because I say so- but because that is the correct scientific practise, and that is what all our species (fish or otherwise) have been identified on the basis of. Any which way it is a very nice looking specimen, and I will be getting some next year as well.
