if they are small enough to eat brine shrimp, then that's the best. as they get older colour bits is good for them as well as that JBL discus food.

Because its too dense. there is no gravel visible. its all plants. I guess the plants will grow around it eventually. Now I just hope the plecos find it, cause they normally only ever sit on the LHS of the tank where I feed the fish.

yeah joe. A few years ago I had this tank - Yes. Those are plastic plants :lol: I still have those plants somewhere in a bag... hidden far out of sight. ___ So today I did some more shopping. I put a new tube on one of the light hoods, and bought 2 new pleco breeding hollow logs. Can't believe I'm putting darn ornaments in my tank. Gah! But it must be done. These are the logs - And this is where they are going in the tank - Now I can only hope that the hypans find the caves.

Thanks joe. I've done a fair bit of cropping a couple of days ago so its not all that flash at the moment, but i'll post pics in a few more days. Added another 10 cardinals to the tank too. My agazzis should arrive in a week.

you can buy the simple skimmer on TM for $30 I think. quicker too.

I have green dot too. ill check for phosphates tomorrow and see what reading I get Look forward to your results.
