Move the tank into a shaded part of room. This is basically all you can do. I've found that neither ottos or bristlenoses eat the green spot algae. I think it's too hard for them. I've only really seen them eat the brown algae.

What about colouration? Would they just be the same colour as they were when they were axolotls. -
My boys are usually peaceful with eachother, but I have a dwarf gourami in the same tank as them and the gourami never gets tired of trying to pick a fight with the rams

May I ask what a morphed axolotl actually looks like? I tried googling it but the search didn't really come up with anything. -

I bought some "borneo sword" from HFF about a month ago. They havn't really grown at all. Are the borneo swords actually peace lillies and should I take them out and get another plant?
