What about those Red & Gold dragon fish that sell for like $2955 and $4995 at Jansen's 'cause they are supposed to bring good luck?
  3. If I purchased a 4ft tank for this, would it be harder to keep cooler than a 2ft tank because the heat would need to heat up more water? Ive seen 4ft tanks for $50 in the T&E, and someones advertising a 5ft with bookcase stand and filter for $50. Chris-
  4. also - tell her that a 5ft means less work than a smaller tank 8)
  5. What an interesting idea. I never knew about this, but it's got me real keen. No heater? Even better  How many time did you change the water Caryl? It sounds really cheap and easy? What filter did you have on it? Phew, this has got me excited ! And I think the parents might let me have this, considering there isnt much money involved (discus take up so much money .. we basicly have to buy a new block of bloodworms a week ). Chris-

  12. From what I have heard, SAE won't go well with Discus, as they, like pleco's, tend to eat the slime off the discus. Just a warning for anyone who wanted to know. Chris-
  13. Salt will kill it. Pull out the fish that are not salt tolerant. Try 3 tablespoons per 10 gallons. HTH, Chris
