I never seen the tubes when i had them , mind you I was not looking and they didnt have much colour in my tank and are colouring up nicely in mumzy tank, Im sure there fins were the same apart from one of them have a thick black line on the top fin and it might be a little higher but not sure on that.

I got some of my mum and she had java fern in here tank and they didnt touch it then when she gave me them i thought i would put some in there tank within mins my java fern was just a stalk. I used to give them bottom pills within seconds they were gone lol

No pictures mumzy got no cam. Were my rams but did swap for her blues, Is it possible that males get something hanging down? I Know my female gold ram did when and after she laying the eggs she has a egg tube thing hanging down.

If you google it there is some pretty good ideas on there. some people find an up side down coke bottle works well for me I didnt find it worked for me . Blueandkim sell the decap on tm some people like to use that , alot easyer than hatching them.

Found this on google not sure how true it is. Thefemales usually have a bigger and rounder belly than the male. The blue line will be straighter in males, while the round female body creates the impression of a bent blue line. When she is ready to breed, her body will become very broad since she is filled with eggs.

Thats so mean, they really should not sell them if they can't provide for there needs, what are they teaching people that buy them. You must be able to complain to places like spca or something reptiles and amphibians must have rights too.

I would still treat the tank to be on the safe side. It looked like some kind of infection to be so best to be safe than sorry!

Na not to do with having pets, You's may thing I am weird but when fish has dark bits in it I just can not eat it or if its smells real fishy lol.

I will eat the odd bit from the fish n chip shop but not really a fan of seafood.

Hi there I think bristlenosed catfish are pretty hardly and should be fine. they would love to clean your tank.
