If you going to put the mail in a container the room would need to be room as winter is setting in and its gonna get cold. You need a few tanks if you plan to breed them.

    Where to buy fish?

I think buying from breeders is better but in saying that i do buy from petshop, I do not buy if there is dead fish in tank or fish look sick or have signs of anything. If all fish look healthy then why not. You have your pros and cons when buying from either a breeder or petshop. eg. Buying from breeders is sometimes cheaper, healther fish, you get to see there setup up if local. Buy from petshop you dont have to wait lol , you dont have the worry with shipping etc and so on.
  5. Hi. I put my male in a breeding tank approx 25 litres with a sponge filter, i use a lid or a half poly cup for him to build bubble nest under, I have the female in there in a guppy breeding cage. After a day or 2 or when i have seen that his nest is good i let her out and it all happens from there and when they finished i remove her.

    Keyholes

They gone from that to now digging a hole well the male is, also attacking the catfish every now and then. Do you think i should move the catfish? Why would he be digging a hole, he doing it with his mouth then picking some up and spitting them out away from his hole he is making..

  11. I googled it so i dont know. If you put a picture up people might be able to help. Description: Fin rot is one of the most common, and most preventable, diseases in aquarium fish. It is caused by several types of bacteria, and often occurs concurrently with other diseases. It can usually be cured, but if left untreated, it can kill the diseased fish and infect all the others in the tank. Symptoms: Fin edges turn white Fins fray Bases of fins enflamed Entire fin may rot away The fins begin to fray and get ragged, becoming shorter over time. Usually the edges look white, and may even develop a fuzzy growth due to secondary Cotton Wool infection. A the disease advances the area may become red an inflamed, with bloody patches appearing as more of the fin is eaten away.
