Thinking about setting up a tank with some tropheus ikola I know the more the better with the tropheus to spread aggression but whats the best tank size for a small colony? could you do it in a 3foot or is that too small?

no there are two different types in nz. red tiger lotus flower is white and nymphaea rubra is pink here a some links to show the difference http://www.aquariumplantsandsupplies.co ... haea-rubra http://www.pbase.com/shihyong/image/43354604 red tiger has strong mottling compared to rubra

just like fish, shrimp would proabably change colour depending on their enviroment and feeding habits. I would assume they are all the same type of shrimp.
