I dont think its legal to tak species from where ive seen them but there are hundreds of natives there. The cascades in Waitakere. there are bullies inanga koura and shrimp afaik -

I know that someone down the line was breeding white convicts with parrot fish possibly offspring from those?

I fed mine up on white worms when I had them. They are very prone to dropsy I found, even if water conditions are perfect. I wouldnt suggest feeding white worms though I have a feeling they are to high in fat for them. I got some wrigglers,but my discus ate them. The parents got dropsy a few weeks later and both died.

nice one KP. Hope everyone also knows you have a loaded shotgun by there tank so if anyone gets too close it automatically fires I wonder how many people actually own these now in NZ
