  5. He met a magical wizard named Alfred who he asked if he could be turned into a wolf so he could walk on land and swim. He then explained to the wizard that he needed to stop the evil souceress Betty from opening a portal from a far away galaxy otherwise aliens would then come and take over the world and destroy everyone. The wizard decided to help the wolf on his quest, and decided he needed a proper name so called him Jack, because it was shrot and easy to remember because the wizard was very old and his brain was failing him. So in order to help Jack, Alfred the wizard needed to go to the Broccoli King so he could be granted youth in order to help Jack the wolf on his quest. The Broccoli King lived in another relm from this world, so Alfred and Jack called upon the Umbajubenashiamah people to help them find the anomaly hidden deep in the jungle that they would have to go through in order to travel to the Broccoli King's relm...
  6. Banana because they are really yummy and yellow like the sun so they make him feel happy. So he got a banana hoping he would stop feeling so depressed. He peeled it and ate it but he left the peel lying around and stepped on it and tripped over and got a brain injury and he thought he was a llama and he started eating grass and then one day he choked on his grass and stopped breathing so his pet dog Pizza rushed him to the healers of the Umbajubenashiamah tribe of the Foja Mountains deep in the Papua New Guinea rainforest. They said the only soloution was to sacrifice him to the Broccoli King. So they were going through with the ritual when invaded and aliens blew up the sacrificial table and the Umbajubenashiamah tribe thought they were bad spirits and got really pissed off and they started shooting darts at the aliens through blow pipes. The darts bounced harmlessly of the magnetic-electronic force field shields on the alien's ships and then they vapourised the Umbajubenashiamah people and took the guppy and his dog Pizza into their mother ship and experimented on them but dicovered that they were actually robotic bombs all along and then they blew up and everyone got vaporised. The end.
  7. Mine get fed at least once or twice a day. If I'm sitting by the tank and they swim up to me and happen to look hungry I just put a bit of flake on the surface for them to nibble at. But for main meals they get frozen food (brine shrimp, daphnia etc).
  8. What is the best aquarium silicone? Are there better products overseas that it would be worth buying for this tank?
  9. Aww they are so cute  Cory-dorable
  10. Not a lot in the way of fishy shops though

  15. My tank is 1000x300x500mm, approx. 150L, and it is chocca with plants!
  16. Hey everyone, I've found Nematobrycon palmeri (Emperor Tetra) to be a very hardy fish, and they are also very colourful and active, and easy to care for, and I have developed an interest for Nematobrycon sp. I have always been aware of Nematobrycon lacortei (Rainbow Tetra), but I've never really thought about keeping them, so I'd like to give them a go. But are N. lacortei in New Zealand at all? If so, where is the best place to source them, and what is the average price for them? Thanks, Joe
