    mine are in a wooded box lined with a plastic bag and a bit off glass on top of the soil which the worms collect on, box also has a lid. the wood helps keep them cool 8)

    ooo very pretty, excuse my ignorance as havnt done anything with larger cichlids, but is stripping when remove fry from the females mouth?

    white worms are easy as, once you have the culture set up, a bit of lunchion meat and constant supply of them

    save some pennies, im a poor student and got 5 tanks just have to sacrifice things, like excessive grog, not that you would know about that in dunners

    im not a beginer but after others opinions on the best beginner setup and fish that could have. my neighbour has a single goldfish in a crummy little animates plastic tank and im working on convincing her to upgrade. im thinking i may reccomend a 2ft tank for tropical freshwater as a place to start as she is also a poor student, as to fish that wont die on her? ive got millions of gupps she could have, anything else easy and interesting?

    our lounge is quite warm so i approximated like 6 hours a day heating as all my tanks have lids so less air contact for cooling. if your worried about insulation just get some old poly boxes and cut them out and stick to tank surfaces that dont matter if cant see through

    power approx 17c a kw so go from there

    my big tank has 120W light and 300W heater and with filter approx 64kw month so not too bad

    well my 5 tanks came to approx $20 a month haha so it not me making the power bills big
