mosquito fish are Gambusia. They are an unwanted organism in NZ waterways. They are illegal to keep, sell or release anywhere.

ah the good old days when kids could be caned at school. Do away with the cane and look at the kids nowadays. Why in my day we had to walk for miles through the snow..etc etc etc...where's my zimmer frame....

nope, the photos I've put on this thread were all taken in Asia. The beetle grub was at Doi Inthanon in northern Thailand.
